My friends and I decided to spend some time at RPL Hilltop in our city, which is popular spot for a walk and stroll because of the beautiful scenery, Instagramable views, and various hugots, or sayings.
The entrance fee is 30 pesos per person, and 15-20 pesos for children. As soon as you go inside, you'll see this colorful staircase going up. This is probably the reason why it's called Hilltop because you have to climb up to see the high view.
Let's go to RPL as a Friend
This is what you'll see when you walk up " Tara RPL as a friend". For me, it's an invitation mixed with flirting if the person you're inviting is someone you want or like but you think you have no chance or maybe they still have a boyfriend/girlfriend haha
Are you the password? I can't forgotten you
It's a pickup line, which is also popular in the Philippines, in which you ask a question and respond with cheesy and corny words that will either thrill the person you're talking to or make real talk conversation haha. Also one of the ways to piss off the person you are talking to, lol.
Like this one, he'll ask if you're a password, and you'll ask too why, he answer which is because I can't forget you. Who wouldn't be thrilled about this? lol.
They have this thing where you can sit or stand, I'm scared to go inside but in my picture I look like a spider in it. Haha
This celosia flower was another feature that added to the beauty of the area, but it wasn't blooming like this when we visited.
These are also the places in our city.
The large, big swing is what I truly like the most about this place. When the swing begins to move, it's dizzying because you will undoubtedly fall if you don't hold on. This is where you can see the expansive view of Roxas City.
You can also take pictures here as though you were going to the sky by climbing the staircase to the top. I was too afraid to give it a try. Even though it was so low, the deteriorated painting on the staircase also shows how many people attempted to climb up here.
The direction of lovers lane is to the right, so I'll just turn around because I'm not with my boyfriend. haha, lol.
Love is like jeepney fare, sometimes it's not reciprocated.
This saying feels : love is like paying for a jeepney; sometimes it is not reciprocated. Because sometimes when paying for a jeepney and there are many passengers, the driver or conductor forgets to give you your change, so it's like in love, you love someone who doesn't love you. Ouch!!
I really like the fake bike they put here; it was stunning when they first opened it. It was surrounded by flowers and looks stunning in the photographs. Unfortunately, there were no flowers when we went.
Also, the colorful fence in the back is one of the things that makes it even more beautiful.
Different language here in the Philippines but they only mean the same thing in English. It's I love you

A gathering place for single people or a place looking for a partner
If there's a lovers lane, there also for single people. Maybe if you are single and go here, youll find you're the one. Well maybe, 🤔 Who knows, hehe right?
If you come here with a partner, you can take a picture here while sitting on two chairs, and there will be equal hearts lol.
Also, you can bring your own padlock and lock it here with your partner. It would be better if they had something for sale; they could also make a profit. I just don't know if there is one because I didn't ask, and I don't have a boyfriend with me, so no need.

They have big cottages where you can spend time with friends and family, as well as chairs where you can relax when you're tired of walking around. You can order snacks to enjoy with your family as well.

I like this. RPL wants to remind us to Live in the moment and not worry about the future, As long as you have God in your life. To Love let us love ourselves,our families,our friends, and most importantly, our partner. It is better to live with love than with a heart full of anger. Laugh Let us never forget to laugh, no matter what problems we face, because they all have solutions. We cannot control our lives in this world, so let us enjoy them while we are alive.
The 30-peso entrance fee was well worth it, hehe, and I'm glad I went because we truly enjoy the view.
