Saludos queridos amigos de #Hive y de esta comunidad de #WorldMappin. Hoy los invito a poner vuestra mirada geográfica, sobre la ciudad de Cienfuegos y más específicamente, sobre el Castillo de Jagua.
"Cienfuegos es la ciudad que más me gusta a mí. " Así rezaba un estribillo de una de las canciones del famoso cantante y compositor cubano Benny Moré, y yo la repito a pleno pulmón porque la ciudad de Cienfuegos es verdaderamente hermosa. Sus calles, sus corredores anchos, su arquitectura y su naturaleza en la que confluyen lo urbano con lo rural y al fondo, como un cierre perfecto a su majestuoso paisaje, la bahía .
Las veladas fueron espectaculares pero el clímax de todo fue, la posibilidad de visitar el Castillo de Jagua, en medio de la bahía cienfueguera.
A Cienfuegos llegamos invitados por Ian Rodríguez (@restaurador) para participar en una especie de mega concierto literario que tendría como escenario a la ciudad de Cienfuegos.
Muchas fueron las sorpresas que recibimos en el encuentro artístico literario, entre ellas, coincidir con un grupo de músicos, editores, poetas y escritores del país. Entre ellos, los intolerables @roswelborges y @abelarte.
Partimos temprano en la mañana, llegamos entusiasmados hasta la costa de la bahía donde debíamos abordar una barca que nos trasladaría hasta el castillo. El trayecto, aunque breve, fue toda una fiesta de versos y canciones, hasta que desembarcaron en el muelle del Castillo.
El Castillo de Jagua, es una fortaleza histórica ubicada en la entrada de la Bahía de Cienfuegos, fue construido en el siglo XVIII con el objetivo de proteger la ciudad, de posibles invasiones de piratas.
El castillo es un ejemplo de la arquitectura militar de la época colonial en Cuba y está clasificado como Patrimonio Cultural. Su ubicación ofrece hermosas vistas de la bahía de Cienfuegos y los alrededores, lo que lo convierte en un lugar ideal para la fotografía y la recreación.
Desde entramos, fuimos registrando fotográficamente, cada uno de los espacios visitados y cada acción que emprendíamos en cada uno de los rincones del castillo.
En su interior encontramos exposiciones de objetos históricos, armas, y maquetas que relatan la historia militar de la época.
Sitio que también quedó guardado en nuestro recuerdo e imágenes.
Sin dudas, El Castillo de Jagua, es un lugar espectacular al que se debe visitar y al que pienso regresar, cuando los vientos y los tiempos soplen en favor de mi barca, mientras tanto, los invito a visitar (aunque sea en mis imágenes) al Castillo de Jagua y cantar como el Beny: Cienfuegos es la ciudad que más me gusta a mí.

Its streets, its wide porches, its architecture and its nature, in which the urban and the rural converge magicaly and as a perfect closure to its majestic landscape at the very back, the Bay.
We arrived to Cienfuegos, guests by Ian Rodríguez (@restaurador) to participate in a kind of mega literary concert that would have the city of Cienfuegos as a main stage.
The evenings were spectacular but the climax of everything was, the possibility of visiting Jagua Castle, in the middle of the Cienfuegos Bay.Many were the surprises we would receive in the literary artistic meeting, including, to coincide with a group of musicians, editors, poets and writers of the country.Among them, the Intolerables @roswelborges and @abelarte.
We got out early in the morning, we arrived excited to the coast of the bay where we should board a boat that would move us to the castle.The journey, although brief, was a party of verses and songs, until we landed out at the castle dock.
Jagua Castle is a historical fort located at the entrance of the Bay of Cienfuegos, it was built in the 18th century with the aim of protecting the city, from possible pirate invasions.
The castle is an example of the military architecture of the colonial era in Cuba and is classified as cultural heritage.Its location offers beautiful views of the Cienfuegos bay and the surroundings, which makes it an ideal place for photography and recreation.
Since we entered, we were recording photographically each of the spaces visited and every action that we did in each corner of the castle.
Inside the building we found exhibitions of historical objects, weapons, and models that relate the military history of those times. Site that was also saved in our memory and images.
Undoubtedly, Jagua's castle is a spectacular place to be visited and to where I plan to return when the winds and times blow in favor of my boat. Meanwhile, I invite you to visit ( at least on my images)To the castle of Jagua, singing like Beny: "Cienfuegos is the city that I like the most."

Ese evento es la secuela del inicio de todo lo bello. Quizás nunca nos veremos a juntar todos los que ahí estuvimos, quizás sí.
Por ahora solo sé que somos una familia hermosa y eso nos hace recordar a Cienfuegos como el lugar mágico que es.
