in Pinmapple2 years ago

Hi guys!

How are you all? how was everyone last week? have a lot of fun. Last week, I was very busy with work, so I couldn't share my story trips. This is a holiday so I have time to rest and don't forget to share my next post. Those who have not seen the post of the trip to the west on day 1 of An Giang can go to this link to review it: https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@daiduong008/exploring-the-west-river-of -Vietnam--day-1-An-Giang. thanks!

On day 2, we woke up to have breakfast and then found our way to the Tra Su forest eco-tourism area. 3km from where I rented the room.

Tickets to visit and have a boat to visit are 150 VND, about 7 US dollars. Currently, this area is being redesigned and adding some new items, so it's a bit messy. but still shows investment and beauty.

Walking around the ticketing area and the campus here, after about 20 minutes, there was a boat, so we got on the boat to take a walk around the forest. and visit special places.

The water here is quite cloudy and has a characteristic brown color. There are quite a lot of mangroves, water hyacinth floats on the water when our boat comes, it drifts to the sides. There are many species of birds, storks, parrots... As I went, the boatman introduced me to the features here. The interesting thing is that here when taking pictures, it creates a very virtual effect. It makes your photo stretch and increases a lot of height.

The boat runs quite smoothly without creating a feeling of seasickness so everyone can go. The first time I came here, I found it very interesting. There are many species of birds we have only seen on TV before.

After about 20 minutes of boating in the forest, we docked to go ashore to visit the observatory, at an altitude of about 50km, people can enjoy the panoramic view around here. Unfortunately, we left quite early so the telescope ticket seller hadn't arrived yet so we couldn't see the birds up close through the binoculars

After a while of watching and enjoying the cool breeze, our group went back to the marina to eat ice cream and drink jaggery... the taste of jaggery is very typical. I can't describe it either. but very interesting.

Then we continue to buy tickets and visit the tea master forest by rowing boat. The driver introduced more features here, she introduced it very enthusiastically and the conversation was very fun. About 15 minutes, the fee is about 2 dollars, then we return to the marina. It must have been 20 minutes because the conversation was quite fun, so she rowed for herself.

After visiting the highlights here, it was almost noon so we decided to go back to the room to clean up to check out and go to the next point of the trip. it's the palm field.

At the time we went, the rice season was over here, so it was quite barren and did not create beauty here. When the rice is green or ripe, this is a place that many people visit and take pictures to check in here. The green rice and palm trees here create a special highlight.
