Saludos amigos, una semana sin publicar, pues me encontraba de paseo, la verdad es que no tenía las mejores condiciones para escribir y no soy tan ágil para pasear y publicar. Así es que ahora que puedo sentarme para contarle sobre mi recorrido y los hermosos lugares que he conocido.
En esta oportunidad fuimos Esterri d'Àneu, un pueblo ubicado en los Pirineos perteneciente a la provincia de Lleida, en la zona norte. Salimos de Torredembarra, que es un municipio costero, buscando, aparte de pasear y conocer que es bastante, un poco de frescor. La ruta que seguimos fue esta:

This time we went to Esterri d'Àneu, a village located in the Pyrenees belonging to the province of Lleida, in the north. We left Torredembarra, which is a coastal, looking for, apart from walking and getting to know, which is quite a lot, a bit of freshness. The route we followed was this:

A medida que avanzábamos pasamos por varios pueblos y desde el carro tomé algunas fotografías. Paramos en un pueblo llamado La Pobla de Segur, entre la iglesia y una fuente de agua, que con el calor que hacía fue un alivio para las niñas. Unos metros más arriba se encuentra un restaurante, allí almorzamos y luego fuimos a comprar los víveres en un supermercado cercano.
Although the planned time was three and a half hours when we travel with children those times change so our trip lasted just over five hours ha,ha,ha,ha,ha.
As we went along we passed through several villages and from the car I took some pictures. We stopped at a village called La Pobla de Segur, between the church and a water fountain, which with the heat was a relief for the girls. A few meters further up is a restaurant, there we had lunch and then went to buy groceries at a nearby supermarket.

Como a los dos kilómetros del cruce nos encontramos con el pintoresco pueblo, con sus llamativas casas y pequeños edificios de dos o tres pisos recubiertos de piedras, techos de dos aguas, chimeneas y sus famosas calles angostas que nos habla de la época medieval y que se preserva como patrimonio local y nacional.
Perhaps two kilometers from the crossroads we find the picturesque village, with its striking houses and small buildings of two or three floors covered with stones, gable roofs, fireplaces and its famous narrow streets that tells us about the medieval times and is preserved as local and national heritage.
Esterí D´Áneu es un pueblo turístico, según datos que recogí su población en el año 2022 apenas superaba los 800 habitantes y se encuentra anclado entre dos Parques Nacionales, el Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici y el l’Alt Pirineu, lo que lo hace muy atractivo para los visitantes que desde él pueden moverse a las distintas localidades para hacer senderismo, ciclismo, montar a caballo, navegar en kayak por los lagos y en invierno esquiar, entre otras tantas atracciones, en próximos post hablaré de ellas.
En los cinco días que pasamos allí su gente me pareció muy amable, ejemplo de ello es que todos hablan en catalán, sin embargo, cuando se dan cuenta que no les entiendes se disculpan y te hablaban en español.
Apenas llegamos y ubicamos el apartamento donde nos quedaríamos, soltamos las maletas y fuimos a dar una vuelta para ir conociendo, es conveniente aclarar que Esterí D´Áneu es pequeño, tal vez unas ocho cuadras de largo por cuatro o cinco de ancho, dotado con todos los servicios.
La iglesia se divisa desde que entras, con su alto y llamativo campanario te va acompañando a cualquier punto que te muevas, en la primera oportunidad que tuve la fotografíe a mi antojo.

As soon as we arrived and located the apartment where we would stay, we dropped our bags and went for a walk to get to know the town, it is convenient to clarify that Esterí D'Áneu is small, maybe eight blocks long by four or five wide, equipped with all services.
The church is visible from the moment you enter, with its tall and striking bell tower that accompanies you to any point you move, in the first opportunity I had to photograph it at my leisure.
En la leyenda destaca que es una iglesia del siglo XVIII, que fue construida sobre la iglesia medieval del pueblo y que una de sus principales reliquias es la gran pila bautismal. Las fotos que tomé de la pila me quedaron supermovidas, pero creo que vale montarla para que quede la idea.
In the legend it stands out that it is a church of the eighteenth century, which was built on the medieval church of the village and that one of its main relics is the great baptismal font. The photos I took of the font were supershaky but I think it is worth to mount it to get the idea.
Al primer lugar al que nos dirigimos fue a la oficina de información turística, que la vimos al llegar, en ella nos dieron un mapa del pueblo, datos sobre las actividades que se realizarían en los próximos días, allí nos enteramos que ese fin de semana sería la Fiesta Mayor y que tendrían muchos eventos para niños y adultos.
The first place we went to was the tourist information office, which we saw upon arrival, where they gave us a map of the town, information about the activities that would be held in the coming days, there we learned that this weekend would be the Fiesta Mayor and that they would have many events for children and adults.
Hablando de niños me encantó que en un espacio al lado de la oficina tienen acondicionado el lugar con juegos infantiles, una excelente estrategia, pues mientras los adultos se informan, los niños se distraen.

De la oficina salimos a buscar el puente. Un puente del siglo XVIII que es orgullo de los lugareños y que en su época era el paso hacia Francia.

Hoy en día es un lugar para visitar y sentir que el pasado y el presente convergen en puntos y quiéralo o no ambos son presencia. A su alrededor hay viviendas modernas revestidas de pasado un parque para niños y varias esculturas curiosas que les mostraré en otro post.
Aquí estoy junto a una de ellas con mi familia, la nieta menor tomó la fotografía.

De esta manera cerramos nuestro primer día, nos fuimos al apartamento a descansar y prepararnos para la larga jornada que tendríamos al día siguiente pues iríamos a un bosque en busca de una cascada, próximamente les cuento sobre este paseo.
