Hello wonderful readers today I will take you on an unforgettable journey to Waichin valley a hidden trek in the Himalayas.
Our day started from Kasol a place which is in kullu district. It took us 1 hour to reach Malana Dam from where our trek started. We packed our bags parked our car at the side of the road and started walking.

Starting point was difficult as it was too steep and the condition of the path was not appropriate. The trail was surrounded by towering trees and the steep mountains loomed on either side. The path was challenging offered a raw and captivating glimpse of natures beauty.

As we moved forward we spotted a lamb struggling to cross a fast flowing stream. So we went there and helped him cross the stream. Once the sheep was safe on the other side we took the opportunity to fill our bottles with the fresh mineral rich mountain water.

As we moved forward it was time to enter a dense forest of towering pine trees. The air was fresh filled with the earthy scent of the pine needles and the soft rustling of leaves underfoot added a serene rhythm to our trek. This peaceful stretch provided a welcome break allowing us to rest before emerging into the open valley.

On our way we came across a stunning old house crafted with traditional Kath Kuni architecture. The intricate wood work and stone foundation showcased the timeless beauty of the region’s craftsmanship. Nested in the picturesque location the house stood surrounded by lush greenery with towering mountains as its backdrop. The peaceful surrounding with only the sound of nature breaking the silence made it the perfect moment to capture.

We took a zoomed in picture of the majestic mountain in front of us covered in pristine snow it stood tall and imposing with no vegetation in sight. The sheer scale and ruggedness of the mountain made it clear that conquering it would be no easy feat. Its stark beauty untouched by human hands left us in awe reminding us of natures raw and unyielding power.

After crossing the forest we reached the first campsite still under construction. It was inspiring to see the hardwork and the dedication of the locals who had carried bamboo and materials from the road to build structures for future travelers. Their effort was evident in every detail as they worked tirelessly to create a comfortable stay amidst the wilderness. We couldn’t help but admire their determination knowing that soon explorers like us would enjoy the fruits of their labor.

This was the time to get into the camps as it was cold outside we found a beautiful camp with the best location. The surround was peaceful with a fresh breeze of the wind from the snow covered mountains which was hitting us. We stopped for the while as some of the friends said to move further to get the stunning view from the height so we decided to walk for few more minutes.

This was the first place we spotted at night for the stay. In the morning time it was giving a perfect view of the valley. At this place we got Hungary and started having our breakfast. The food was perfect with the view and the rates were also reasonable as it is very difficult to arrange food to eat at this elevation which is all carried on there back for our survival.

At the end we spotted a beautiful homestay with versatile Colors. All the houses made here were wooden made as it is been said that the homes made with wood and clay are more warm and comfortable than the concrete made. It is also earthquake resistance. The house was full of paintings which were hunged all over enhancing its beauty.
