Aye a bit much at £15.95 if it was cheaper it would be decent I think just a bit overpriced, tasted ok if your into fish pies. The haddock was banging tho, burger really needed some sort of sauce, bit of blue cheese sauce and a couple pickles for more moisture and it would have been banging
Aye it's hard to find the best "all-round" place to eat, I found that the "Fisherman's Tavern" (which is a greeneking) or "The Ship Inn" in Broughty Ferry are the best places to eat that I can find and remember as being good quality and consistently well-priced even for broughty ferry, Try a blog there next time :)
Right by the beach as well.
Aye, The Ferry is on the summer to-do list. We have this new place here in Kirkcaldy that folk love, its on the same street as that Wetherspoons. Remember Big John went there for their all-you-can-eat chicken wings?
I was there last night for the first time and tried their standard rarebit burger which was the same price as The Water Rat's at £13.95. Jocks burger has the looks and the Blue Cheese sauce and some chunky pickles so ill give it a solid 8.5 out of 10.
Nice one, looks good man, yeah!! haha big john, i'll need to come back through again to record when I get some more funds!
