As I promised you in the last post here I bring you the rest of the pictures I took in Leuven in the two days following our arrival.
We walked the whole city from north to south and from east to west, it is easy to do so since the climate of about 20 degrees and the order of its urban structure mitigates the tiredness.
We were able to enter the church of San Pedro, in the shape of a Latin cross and stroll around at night, have dinner and have a few drinks.
The first photo I present is of the so-called Totem, a curious sculpture that is located in the Laudezeplein square where the famous library of Louvain is located and which is a needle placed vertically about 20 meters high that has in its upper end an embedded beetle.

This photo shows a panoramic view of the city's Catholic University.

Next are several shots of St. Peter's Church and its interior.

Here are other shots of the Great Beguinage of Leuven, in the last one you can see the smoke pipes in the apartments.

This is the Convent and Chapel of the Black Nuns of Louvain.

Here I show a street of the city

And finally some pictures of Leuven at night.

All photos were taken with my Minolta Digital camera.
