Why it's called the Bodeguita del medio I haven't really bothered. But what I do know is that it is not on the list of any place.
One of the things I enjoy the most when I walk through the cobblestone or not cobblestone but narrow streets of the old Havana of intramuros, is to hear from my rhythm of a walker, sometimes slow, sometimes a hurried traveler, the traditional songs and rhythms that flood the days and nights of the barea and cantinas as if wanting to immortalize the sonorous spirit of an era already surpassed in the unalterable chronology of time.
And one of those places where the pure musical tradition is consumed is the Bodeguita del medio, which together with the Floridita is perhaps the most emblematic place in old Havana in terms of gastronomy and troubadour music in the style of the iconographers. Carlos Puebla, Compay Segundo, Cesar Portillo, and other founders and continuators created an identity of Urban music that has transcended all times and has blessed later generations.
La Bodeguita is a picturesque place of international fame, not only for its music and exquisite gastronomic service, but also for its atypical decoration in which in addition to the walls full of photographs of countless people who have visited the place, forming a large collage, there are also the original signatures that prove the stay.

De por que se llama la Bodeguita del medio realmente ni me he preocupado. Pero lo que se es que no está en el mesio de lugar en alguno.
De las cosas que mas disfruto cundo paseo por las adoquinadas o no adoquinadas pero si estrechas calles de la antigua la Habana de intramuros, es oir desde mi ritmo de caminante a veces de paso lento, otra de apresurado viajero, las canciones y ritmos tradicionales que inundan los dias y noches loa barea y cantinas como queriendo inmortalizar el espiritu sonoro de una epoca ya superada en la cronologia inalterable del tiempo.
Y uno se esos lugares dónde se consume.la pura tradición musical es la Bodeguita del medio , que junto al Floridita es quizas el sitio mas emblematico de la Habana vieja en cuanto a gastronomía ya musica trovadoresca al estilo de los iconograficos. Carlos Puebla, Compay Segundo, Cesar Portillo, y otros fundadores y continuador es que a guitarra limpia o con otros formatos afines crearon una identidad de música UrBana que h trascendido todos los tiempos y de la què han bendecido generaciones posteriores.
La bodeguita es un lugar pintoresco y de fama internacional, no tan solo pur su música y exquisito servicio gastronómico, si no tambien por su decoracion atipica en la que ademas de las paredes abarrotadas de fotografías de innumerables personages que han visitado e l lugar , formando un gran collage , estan tambien las firmas originales que patentizan la estancia
De las personas en emblematico es lugar, que están plasmadas tanto en el interior, como en el exterior en cuanto espacio y lugar ha sido posible .
Desde yace bastante tiempo lo de firmar se fue convirtiendo$o en una especie de ritual a la vista de tosos y a cualquier hora del dia y la noche , y en algunos casos se han formado palincestros muy difíciles de descifrar.
La calle empedrado, dónde est ubicada Bodeguita del Medio es una de la vias mas activas de la añejada capital y desemboca en una equina de la Plaza de la catedral de la Habana., Y en su entorno y aprovechando la fama un afluencia de publico del lugar. Pintores ambulantes , caricaturistas, musicos, figurantes etc,pero que tambien favorecen el ambiente cultural de la arteria.
