Hello dear Hivers and welcome back to my Blog!
We are already at the end of July and the holidays always seem to last too little! In Italy these last few days are very hot and the temperatures are unbearable. In Bologna, my city, temperature peaks of 40 °C are expected! When I have the opportunity, therefore, I like to take the train and escape from the heat towards the seaside and mountain areas.
In this post I’d like to share with you a part of my experience in Liguria, North Italy. I'm still in Alassio, the same town from the last post, where I showed you the creative wall made of tiles that narrate Italian contemporary history.
Today, however, I’m sharing a few photos taken from the beach and from the panoramic port that extends into the coast of the Ligurian Sea. From this beach it is possible to observe a very particular island, in the shape of a turtle, called Isola Gallinara. I find that the sea water in this point is truly splendid, with shades ranging from bright blue to bright green. It is also possible to find some small fish, but I wasn’t able to photograph them.

Ciao cari Hivers e bentornati sul mio Blog!
Siamo già a fine luglio e le vacanze sembrano durare sempre troppo poco! In Italia questi ultimi giorni sono davvero molto caldi e le temperature sono insopportabili. Pensate che a Bologna, la mia città, sono previsti picchi di 40 °C! Quando ho l’occasione, quindi, mi piace prendere il treno e scappare dal caldo afoso verso le località di mare e di montagna.
In questo post voglio condividere con voi una parte della mia esperienza in Liguria. Mi trovo sempre ad Alassio, la stessa cittadina dello scorso post, dove vi avevo mostrato il creativo muretto fatto di mattonelle che narrano la storia contemporanea.
Oggi, invece, allego qualche foto scattata dalla spiaggia e dal panoramico porticciolo che si inoltra nella costa del Mar Ligure. Da questa spiaggia è possibile osservare un’isola davvero particolare, dalla forma di una tartaruga, chiamata Isola Gallinara. Trovo che l’acqua del mare in questo punto sia davvero splendida, con delle tonalità che vanno dall’azzurro acceso al verde brillante. È anche possibile trovare qualche pesciolino, che però non sono riuscita a fotografare.
