So, I was residing in Maharashtra for 2 months as a part of my internship, Last week I returned to my hometown. There's no direct train from Nashik, so I decided to book a train up to Delhi and then travel via bus. I reached Delhi early morning around 10 am, and my bus was at 9 pm. I had a full day left. My friend also accompanied me to Delhi. So we decided to explore Delhi and then head back to our respective stops. We left our baggage at the cloakroom at the railway station and then headed for the metro.

Being a book enthusiast, I always wanted to visit this aesthetic Faqir Chand Bookstore, so why not now. Delhi, the vibrant capital of India, holds a special place for book enthusiasts. In the midst of the city's hustle and bustle lies a charming treasure called Faqirchand Bookstore. It has a rich history that dates back to 1951. Situated in Khan Market, this bookstore has witnessed the changing literary landscape of Delhi. Stepping inside, you'll feel like you've traveled back in time, surrounded by the comforting scent of old books and the sound of pages being turned.

Faqir Chand Bookstore offers an extensive collection of books catering to diverse interests. Whether you love history, fiction, or philosophy, you'll find something to captivate your imagination. The shelves are adorned with rare editions, and vintage titles, inviting you to explore a world of knowledge and adventure. This is more than just a bookstore; it is a guardian of Delhi's literary heritage. It has witnessed the evolution of the city's reading culture and continues to stand strong amidst the rise of digital books and online retailers. It reminds us of the power of physical books and the importance of preserving our literary legacy.

Exploring Faqirchand Bookstore is a delightful experience that goes beyond buying books. It is a pilgrimage for book lovers, So, when you find yourself in Delhi, be sure to visit this hidden gem and immerse yourself in the joy of books. Apart from the bookstore Khan Market is a posh area with the most beautiful streets. I couldn't take many pictures tho.
