Hi Claire, the trail to Osmena peak is beautiful regardless of how many times we travel to get there. Each visit is never the same but the surrounding areas are even more interesting to explore.
Hiking all the way to Kawasan I'm sure revealed so many stunning landscapes despite the challenge of getting there. That is far, wow! 😍
Whenever we had family or friends visiting, Osmena Peak was always included in our itinerary and one time I decided not to join them since the trail is pretty straightforward. I decided to walk on my own towards a lesser-known area. Walking is pleasant because of the cooler temperature and a bit of rain makes the experience even more fun.
I agree @discoveringarni! The trail was amazing as I remember it. There is something new every turn you make.
And we always end up in unexpected places when we do this! And about the rain, yes, it also makes the climb a fun experience and I had a few more stories to tell about climbing on a heavy rainfall. So stay tune!
I also bring my friends coming from other places to Osmena peak but only choosing the shorter way since most of them are not climbers.
