After three days of intense adventure, we found ourselves in the middle of the Cende moor, a magical place where silence is only interrupted by the whisper of the wind and the singing of birds. The cold of the night was bone chilling, but the beauty of the starry sky was such that we forgot any discomfort.
Each star shone with a unique intensity, as if it wanted to illuminate our way to the peak that awaited us. As we watched this cosmic spectacle, we talked about our experiences during the trip, sharing laughs and anecdotes that would undoubtedly remain engraved in our memories forever.
At dawn, nature gave us an even more impressive spectacle: a radiant sunset that dyed the mountains red and orange. The sun, like a celestial artist, painted the sky with fiery brushstrokes, creating an ephemeral but unforgettable work of art. Despite the accumulated fatigue, we could not resist the temptation to witness this magical moment, with temperatures barely touching 5 degrees Celsius.
That day the challenge of reaching the summit of Cende peak, the highest point in the state of Lara with 3785 MSNM, awaited us. To get there, I had spent months of preparation, combining crossfit sessions at @forcetogrow with long hikes. Adrenaline was running through my veins.
I knew that the road to the summit would be demanding, but the thrill of reaching the goal was stronger than any fatigue. We began the ascent steadily, breathing the fresh mountain air and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding landscape. As we ascended, the vegetation became sparser and the cold intensified.
However, the panoramic view that stretched out before our eyes was increasingly impressive, more than compensating for any difficulties. Each step that brought us closer to the summit filled us with indescribable satisfaction.
Finally, after hours of effort and determination, we reached the summit. The landscape before us was simply indescribable. Cottony clouds swirled at our feet, while in the distance we could make out the imposing peaks of the Andean Cordillera.
At that moment, I felt a deep connection with nature and immense gratitude for the opportunity to live this experience. Cende: a place that marks you forever, where nature embraces you with its majesty and reminds you how small you are in front of the immensity of the universe.

Tras tres días de intensa aventura, nos encontramos en medio del páramo de Cende, un lugar mágico donde el silencio solo es interrumpido por el susurro del viento y el canto de las aves. El frío de la noche calaba hasta los huesos, pero la belleza del cielo estrellado era tal que nos hizo olvidar cualquier incomodidad.
Cada estrella brillaba con una intensidad única, como si quisiera iluminar nuestro camino hacia la cima que nos esperaba. Mientras observábamos este espectáculo cósmico, conversábamos sobre las experiencias vividas durante el viaje, compartiendo risas y anécdotas que sin duda quedarían grabadas en nuestra memoria para siempre.
Al alba, la naturaleza nos regaló un espectáculo aún más impresionante: una puesta de sol radiante que tiñó de rojo y naranja las montañas. El sol, como un artista celestial, pintaba el cielo con pinceladas de fuego, creando una obra de arte efímera pero inolvidable. A pesar del cansancio acumulado, no pudimos resistir la tentación de presenciar este mágico momento, con temperaturas que apenas rozaban los 5 grados centígrados.
Ese día nos esperaba el reto de alcanzar la cima del pico Cende, el punto más alto del estado Lara con 3785 MSNM. Para llegar hasta allí, había dedicado meses de preparación, combinando sesiones de crossfit en @forcetogrow con largas caminatas. La adrenalina corría por mis venas
Sabía que el camino hacia la cima sería exigente, pero la emoción de alcanzar la meta era más fuerte que cualquier cansancio. Comenzamos la ascensión con paso firme, respirando el aire puro de la montaña y disfrutando de la belleza del paisaje que nos rodeaba. A medida que ascendíamos, la vegetación se tornaba más escasa y el frío se intensificaba.
Sin embargo, la vista panorámica que se extendía ante nuestros ojos era cada vez más impresionante, compensando con creces cualquier dificultad. Cada paso que nos acercaba a la cumbre nos llenaba de una satisfacción indescriptible.
Finalmente, tras horas de esfuerzo y determinación, alcanzamos la cima. El paisaje que se extendía ante nosotros era simplemente indescriptible. Nubes algodonosas se arremolinaban a nuestros pies, mientras que en la lejanía se divisaban las imponentes cumbres de la Cordillera Andina.
En ese momento, sentí una profunda conexión con la naturaleza y una inmensa gratitud por la oportunidad de vivir esta experiencia. Cende: un lugar que te marca para siempre, donde la naturaleza te abraza con su majestuosidad y te recuerda lo pequeño que eres frente a la inmensidad del universo.

Un paisaje muy hermoso la verdad, creo que la satisfacción de llegar al final y disfrutar de todo el paisaje es la mejor recompensa mi estimado.
Me recuerda de mis años mozos, cuando hacia senderismo en el Avila, en san juan de los morros y otras partes, extraño esos dias (hoy por motivos de salud no me lo puedo permitir).
