Once again, I am here to share with you a beautiful trip I took with my family to the iconic Cristo Rey Monument, inaugurated in 1956 and located on Cerro Los Cristales. It is Cali’s most representative monument. ✨

Una vez más paso por aquí para contarles sobre un hermoso paseo que realicé en familia hacia el emblemático Monumento del Cristo Rey, inaugurado en 1956 y ubicado en el Cerro Los Cristales. Es el monumento más representativo de Cali. ✨

This is a very popular place, both for tourists and residents of the area, where you can admire the entire city of Cali from its viewpoint. My family loved it, as it was our first time visiting, even though we have been living in this beautiful city for six years. Before entering this wonderful place, we enjoyed a delicious traditional breakfast of marranitas, pan de bono, and refreshing local drinks such as champús, cholados, and luladas, which are typical of this region. 🥐🍹
Este es un lugar muy visitado, tanto por turistas como por residentes de la zona, desde donde, en su mirador, se puede apreciar toda la ciudad de Cali. A mi familia le encantó, ya que era nuestra primera visita, a pesar de que llevamos seis años viviendo en esta hermosa ciudad. Antes de entrar a este maravilloso lugar, disfrutamos de un delicioso desayuno tradicional con marranitas, pan de bono y refrescantes bebidas como champús, cholados y luladas, típicas de esta región. 🥐🍹

There are also many artisan vendors offering sweets and crafts that you can take home as souvenirs from your visit. These items are very typical of the region and incredibly tasty. My family enjoyed this trip so much, and I was truly enchanted by the majestic view and the pleasant weather. It was a wonderful experience that I would love to repeat someday. También hay muchos vendedores artesanales que ofrecen dulces y artesanías que puedes llevar como recuerdo de tu visita. Estos productos son muy típicos de la región y realmente deliciosos. Mi familia disfrutó muchísimo este paseo, y yo quedé encantado con la majestuosa vista y el clima tan agradable. Fue una experiencia maravillosa que me encantaría repetir algún día. This trip is truly wonderful. It includes your family members. It will always remain in your memory as a souvenir. The artisans who make the famous sweets and other items can also take them with us. This information is important to me and to all the other hivers.
