Introduction:
Bangladesh is one of the most beautiful countries in the world in terms of natural beauty. Bangladesh is basically a riverine country in South Asia. There are many rivers, canals in this country. There are also mountains in the north and southeast of the country. And many people travel to these districts to see the beauty of the mountains. I am also sharing the memories of such a mountain trip here today.
Sajak Valley and its location
Sajek Valley is a very popular and famous travel and tourism center in Bangladesh. It is mainly located in Rangamati district. However, if you want to visit this place of interest, you have to go through Khagrachhari district. Because the road in Rangamati district is not strong enough. It is very difficult to travel in the hilly areas. So you have to reach Sajek Valley by inaccessible path.

My Travel plan:
This trip was with several younger brothers and friends from my village. For a long time, the boys of the village had been planning together how to go around the mountains. So, I consulted with everyone and we decided to travel to Sajak Valley because we can touch the clouds as well as travel here. So, everyone took this plan and we went to Sajak Valley.
Journey Description:
We set off very early in the morning so we could catch a morning trip. Due to the inaccessibility of the Sajek Valley, visitors are escorted by the army and the Bangladesh Border Guard. That means there are army vehicles in front and behind. And these journeys take place only twice a day (at ten in the morning and at three in the afternoon). We left very early in the morning and we rented a small micro bus. So, we traveled to different places in Khagrachari in the morning and reached the place of that squad in the afternoon with some necessary food as planned.
The journey was extremely inaccessible and thrilling. Once the car goes down the steep slope of the hill, it goes up, then it goes to the right and then to the left. In this way, about 35 kilometers of road, we slowly reached the thrilling environment through a terrible joy.
And as we move forward, we continue to enjoy the aesthetic beauty of the mountains. It was beautiful to see the mountains from the top of the car and many times I could see that the clouds were getting stuck in the folds of the mountains. This view is extremely nice and the pleasure of watching this view from above is different. So, along the way everyone tried to climb on the roof of the car so that the beauty could be enjoyed very well and it was a very thrilling experience.
Travel Description:
When we reached the place, there were clouds floating around in the sky and there were some clouds below us which looked very beautiful. The most interesting thing was that suddenly a piece of cloud came and seemed to be soaking us. Thousands of people flock to this place every day to see such natural beauty. Such a beautiful form of nature can only be understood by going there. The view of the clouds stuck in the folds of the mountain and the movement and play of the clouds from side to side really attracts any tourist. People want to go back again and again once they go here.
We roam the surrounding areas until evening. The most interesting thing is that it is sometimes cold here and then suddenly hot. When the clouds come, everything gets cold and suddenly everything feels hot. In this way, the environment changes with the movement of the clouds. We wandered outside until about 11pm and enjoyed these beautiful moments. Finally, we went to bed and got up very early the next morning so that we could see the sunrise and enjoy the beauty of the morning from more work.
The morning moments were different because we woke up very early in the morning to see the sunrise and spent some very pleasant time in the cool morning atmosphere taking some pictures. There is a big hill next to it which is called Kanlak hill. We went to this Kanlak hill and took some pictures and from that Kanlak hill the whole surrounding environment looked very beautiful as it is the largest hill in the region. It was as if we had climbed to a different height when we could see the mountains of other regions, including Sajek, from the largest mountain. These moments are hard to feel without actually feeling from there. Many tourists go to visit this place even though it is very difficult because the beauty of this place is much more than any other place in Bangladesh.
All in all, this travel experience was wonderful for all of us. Because throughout the day we visit all the places in the vicinity. Life there is very simple and very low quality. For those who live in the mountains, the touch of electricity is too late in their lives and later reached by solar. Because the electricity of the national grid has not reached there yet.
After all, the lives of those who live in the mountains are very difficult because they have to go down a lot for water and retain rain water. Although people go there to see the natural beauty of the clouds, but there is a lot of water in the lives of the people there. In the rainy season they are very comfortable because there are many types of fountains in the vicinity. So, above all, their lives are ordinary, but they are full of hardships and many struggles. It was good to see their way of life and I was able to enjoy our life a lot.
Conclusion:
Many of us like to travel but we have not been able to travel for a year and a half due to the Corona situation. So, I shared an old travel story and hopefully in the future when the situation calms down, I will be able to go back to the environment as before and feel very good.
