This time I want to tell you a little about my interesting experience visiting orchid forest cikole in Palembang Bandung. This is a popular vacation spot in Bandung. Because according to the name “orchid forest” is a tourist spot in the middle of a beautiful pine forest, where thousands of species of orchids are preserved in this place. Not only see orchids, many things to do in this forest.
To arrive at this location must use private vehicle, because there is no public transportation that passes in the area. It’s a little far from the settlement and in hilly areas.
I arrived at the location around 03.00 pm. Cool air and beautiful scenery greeted me right away. After going through the entrance, you can see a beautiful pine forest as for as the eye can see. And the is classical music playing which adds to the calm atmosphere. I follow these footsteps walking while enjoying the music that sounds beautiful. In an instant, the mind becomes relaxed and calm.
The first one I visited was a greenhouse. Where there are beautiful hanging balls. This is a Japanese-style ornamental plant technique.
Next, I go to the orchid house. Here is a place for the preservation of thousands of species of orchids. From local orchids to foreign orchids. See orchids blooming perfectly and emitting beautiful colors. For you orchid lovers, you must come here, okay?
Continuing this footstep, I saw a cute carrot-eating animal in a green garden that stole my view. Who else if not a rabbit. This place is called rabbit forest. We can play with bunnies and feed him, but not free. We can buy a bunch of carrots at the price of IDR 7.000 don’t forget to take a photo with the cute bunny.
After being satisfied playing with rabbits, I continued to walk to the wood bridge. By paying IDR 20.000 we can enter this territory. So, this is one of the most iconic parts of the orchid forest cikole. A wood bridge connect between several pines trees. The most instagramable place in my opinion. And at the end of the bridge waiting for the flying fox ride. Yuuhhhuuuuuu.
