Once again I returned to this spectacular place in the city of Bogotá located in Colombia, Plaza Bolívar or as it is commonly called Plaza de las Palomas, which is also in La Candelaria, a place with spectacular weather and a spectacular place to enjoy calmly seeing many pigeons, because yes, there are too many pigeons walking and flying around there and many other things that you can enjoy on this same site while you share with the people you love.
Esta vez también fuí acompañada por Pawel, y la pasamos genial, excepto porque al final tuvimos que caminar mucho mientras conseguiamos un buen lugar para tomar un Uber y porque ya estábamos cansados porque caminamos mucho allí porque queríamos ver todo, así que si van allí vayan con mucha energía y ganas de caminar porque seguramente lo van a hacer y esa es la idea conocer cada rincón de este genial lugar, yo ya lo conocía pero había partes que ya no recordaba así que fue excelente para mí volver allí.
This time I was also accompanied by Pawel, and we had a great time, except that in the end we had to walk a lot while we got a good place to take an Uber and because we were already tired because we walked a lot there because we wanted to see everything, so if you go there go with a lot of energy and desire to walk because they will surely do it and that is the idea to get to know every corner of this great place, I already knew it but there were parts that I no longer remembered so it was excellent for me to return there.
Un lugar donde además hay mucho talento o artistas por todos lados, y no solo dibujantes si no también pintores ofreciendo sus servicios al público que pasa por allí, y aunque no les pregunté de dónde eran, estoy segura que muchos de ellos son venezolanos. También habían muchas personas vendiendo diferentes cosas entre esas la fruta mamón y la chicha venezolana que realmente me encantan y por supuesto hice que Pawel de Polonia las probara y aunque no le encantaron dijo que estaban buenos, tal vez una próxima estén mejores.
A place where there is also a lot of talent or artists everywhere, and not only cartoonists but also painters offering their services to the public that passes by, and although I did not ask them where they were from, I am sure that many of them are Venezuelan. There were also many people selling different things between those mamón fruit and Venezuelan chicha that I really love and of course I had Pawel from Poland try them and although he didn't love them he said they were good, maybe the next one will be better.
Luego de probar estas dos cosas, aunque realmente queríamos probar todo lo que allí venden, fuimos directo a la Plaza Bolívar a hacer fotos geniales allí y disfrutar de la vista, mi parte favorita es cuando los niños sonríen mientras le dan un poco de comida a las palomas y sus madres los fotografían, estoy segura que esas fotos son espectaculares, pero por ahora disfruten de estás dónde si observan bien hay niños siendo felices mientras juegan (o al menos así lo veo yo) con las palomas.
After trying these two things, although we really wanted to try everything they sell there, we went straight to Plaza Bolívar to take great photos there and enjoy the view, my favorite part is when the children smile while they give some food to the pigeons and their mothers photograph them, I'm sure those photos are spectacular, but for now, enjoy being where if you look closely there are children being happy while playing (or at least that's how I see it) with the pigeons.
Así que no se preocupen por comida, que hay muchas personas vendiendo diferentes cosas para probar, también hay varios restaurantes, nosotros habíamos entrado a uno antes de ir a la Plaza y nos gustó mucho pero eso se los mostraré en un próximo post para que lo disfruten. Y después de allí, es decir de comer y ver un rato las palomas, decidimos ir a la Candelaria caminando y es que todo esto esto lo recorres caminando. La candelaria es conocida porque la mayoría de las casas allí están pintadas con colores vivos o colores que resaltan y hacen este lugar espectacular.
So do not worry about food, there are many people selling different things to try, there are also several restaurants, we had entered one before going to the Plaza and we liked it a lot but I will show you that in a future post so that you can enjoy. And after there, that is, eating and watching the pigeons for a while, we decided to go to Candelaria on foot, and you walk all this. La Candelaria is known because most of the houses there are painted with bright colors or colors that stand out and make this place spectacular.
Y mientras más caminábamos más arte encontrábamos, más personas vendiendo otras cosas diferentes e incluso personas cantando o tocando algún instrumento y esto lo recordé mientras escribo estas líneas para ustedes. También muchos militares o chicos del ejército por varios lados ya que allí está ubicada la presidencia de la república, así que no se preocupen que está parte es segura, pero les cuento que luego mi amigo Pawel y yo caminamos más lejano de allí para poder pedir un Uber y dos rechazaron hasta que finalmente encontramos uno y el señor nos dijo que era porque esta zona es un poco peligrosa, pero no estoy segura realmente y que el aceptó porque estaba relativamente cerca de aquí y tenía mucho tiempo sin pasar por allí y quería hacerlo, así que mi recomendación es que pregunten o estén muy pendientes de por dónde van.
And the more we walked, the more art we found, more people selling other different things and even people singing or playing an instrument and this I remembered while I write these lines for you. There are also many military men or boys from the army on various sides since the presidency of the republic is located there, so don't worry that this part is safe, but I will tell you that later my friend Pawel and I walked further from there to be able to ask one Uber and two refused until we finally found one and the man told us that it was because this area is a bit dangerous, but I'm not really sure and that he accepted because it was relatively close to here and he hadn't been there for a long time and he wanted do it, so my recommendation is that they ask or be very aware of where they are going.
