Let me share with you a sudden quick escaped at Bell Church yesterday with my friend. Actually, I didn’t expect that we would go there.
A little story, I always want to visit this tourist attraction since then, but that plan always end up of not getting there. When yesterday’s conversation with my friend came out, we were talking about personal experiences about life and shared with each other. Suddenly, she asked me if I’m free at that time. Without a doubt, I replied her back that I’m available and thinking of going somewhere (which is I’m thinking of going to Bell Church). So, she quickly asked me if it’s okay to accompany her to pass her biodata because she’s going to apply in one of the department stores in La Trinidad, Benguet. I agree on what she exclaimed as I really want to go out as I was at the hospital looking after my uncle who was having his dialysis session, and it’s taking 4 hours to finish. So, I asked permission with my uncle about it and I ran towards the transportation going to La Trinidad.
First, we went to the department store and accompanied her to pass her biodata. After this, I asked her if she’s been to The Mansion (another tourist spot in Baguio), and she said that, she visited it once but it was a year ago. I asked that question because it’s like I want to go there instead of going to Bell Church. No guessing game, she wanted it too but when I saw the clock, it’s already late in the afternoon, and if we push through going there, it would take us hours because it’s bit far from where we are. So, we decided to visit Bell Church and agreed to visit The Mansion in another day or if we are free together. There’s giggle on me when we headed to Bell Church because it’s my first time seeing this attraction.
Anyway, Bell Church is located near the boundary of Baguio City and La Trinidad, Benguet (La Trinidad, one of the municipality in Benguet and where Baguio is nestled but Baguio City is an Independent Government).

As we were at the entrance, we were welcomed with colorful dragons and phoenix carved in intricate designs in the area. There’s an entrance fee of 20 pesos which is suited for the visit. There’s also a parking space for thirty minutes.

I’m just amazed of the scenic view wherein it’s perfect where it located as you can see the houses when you are at the top, and the mountain ranges so it’s really alluring.
As we continued our walk, a lion statue on the pathway, at the center was the lotus pond and a garden area of the temple, and looking on the west side, the name carved beautifully in bold red letters facing the intricate designs of Chinese. The temple also designed with Chinese style which is green-tiled roofs, and red pillars that makes it even more enticing. Beside the temple, there’s also a pond filled with Tilapia fish surrounded with lotus plants and other plants that add to the beauty and refreshing scenery.

When going up, there's a path steps made out of stones cement. The surrounding too is surrounded with different flowers, and green plants as you really enjoy the breathtaking view of it. Likewise, you can take pictures and even videos.

As we reach above, I thought we’re going to end at the top but the entrance going there was closed, we don’t know why but I think they open it during weekend. So, we just end up our tour at this large golden bell monument. In this area, it’s the perfect view because you can really see the tranquil view. We ended also there taking photos. We might feel exhausted and I bit cold because of the weather but we really enjoyed very much and my bucket list was granted.
