Greetings of the day,
Evening time is always like a relaxing journey. Something similar happened that day too when I suddenly decided to go out somewhere away from the crowd of the city for a while. The day at the office was not long, and there was still some energy left in the body. I thought, why not have today's activity be something different – this time not just walking, but also a little shopping and exploration. Thinking this, I picked up my car keys and set out towards Inorbit Mall Vadodara.

A light cool breeze was blowing on the way, and the evening sky was changing colors like a canvas. There was less traffiC which added to the fun of the drive. I've always loved the drive to the mall because the twinkling shops on the right, and the yellow light filtering through the trees on both sides of the road. Within no time I was at the entrance of the mall. Seeing the rows of lights standing outside, and the crowd, it seemed for a moment as if the entire city had gathered here.
when we entered inside, the first thing we noticed was the beautiful lighting there. The entire mall was filled with glittering lamps and decorations, probably due to some festival or weekend celebration. There were sounds of laughter from everywhere, children running around, and the smell of the food court was present in the air. I thought, this is the real life – after the tiredness of work, there are some moments which just make the heart happy.
First I walked a little, so that the Activit steps were also completed. The streets of Inorbit are so big that if one walks leisurely, thousands of steps are completed without even realizing it. Stopping for a while in front of each brand's shop and looking at it had become a fitness routine in itself - somewhere a new sneaker was seen, somewhere the collection of jogging T-shirts caught my attention.
After some time I went to Lifestyle Store. There was a new collection of winter wear. I tried two jackets and one trackpant. Looking at myself in the mirror during the trial, I realized that sometimes shopping is a form of self-care - you make yourself feel better, and relax from within. After shopping I looked at my activity band-almost 4500 steps had been taken. It was a happy feeling to see that today's fitness goal is being achieved along with shopping.
After this I went towards the food court. Movement of people from top to bottom, aroma of different dishes on every table. I grabbed a veggie delight sandwich from Subway and a coffee. At that time, the whole mall had a different vibe also people were taking photos at every corner, some children were laughing and going up and down on the escalator. I also took my coffee and chose a place to sit near the window, which offered a view of the entire scene below the gleaming floors, the hustle and bustle of the crowd, and the soft tune of music in the background.
After finishing my coffee, I thought of going towards the game zone. As soon as we reached there the atmosphere changed completely. Colorful lights, loud music, and the sounds of game machines. Some children were engrossed in car racing, while some were playing ball shooting games. I also played a basketball game for some fun — within minutes my heart started racing and my hands felt a little tired. This was also a great fitness movement — exercise while having fun without going to the gym.
After leaving the game zone, I took a last walk inside the mall. At that time the lights of the mall had become a little brighter, and the sky outside had changed from blue to black. People had now slowly started leaving, but my mind still wanted to stay there. I took some pictures – the mall decorated with lights, the shimmering reflection of the crowd and the warmth of the evening which reached my heart.
When the car headed back to the parking lot and also the activity app showed 9000, covering about 6 kilometers and burning 500 calories. It made me even more happy to see that today's outing was not just about shopping or sightseeing, but became a full fitness experience. While sitting in the car, I looked back from the window the mall was now shining in the distance, like a lamp filled with memories.
While returning home, there was a slight cool breeze on the road, and some old song was playing on the radio. The only thought in my mind was that such moments do not come again and again in life, when you can take out some time for yourself. If both shopping and travel are in balance, they not only refresh the body but also clear the mind.
Today's day taught me this - that fitness is not limited to gym or running, but is in every movement that gives us happiness, whether it is walking in the mall or drinking coffee with friends. And maybe this is the real meaning of Actifit to be active, to be happy and to celebrate every small step.
