Hello Hivers from all over the world! Hoping all is well with you and your family π€
This last quarter of 2025 here in the Philippines was like on a survival mode from earthquakes to super typhoons so when everything is over the best thing to do is earthing or grounding. The stress brought by the calamities piled up so in order to recharge the weary mind, body and spirit, it is wise to unwind and see the beauty of nature.

I really like walking barefoot in the sand, it is very therapeutic and makes me feel better. Have you tried doing the same thing for yourself? It is a must try, compare how you feel before walking in the sand and after walking barefoot in the sand. What difference will there be for your own experience? Share it here next time.

Fun fact: I do not know how to swim so I would rather stay on the sandy part of the beach or stay on the knee-high part of the water where I can sometimes try to catch some fishes when I bring a small net just to have some fun and bring it home as pets.

After minutes of walking barefoot in the sand, I feel relieved and so much better, I cleared my mind from the very stressful situations happening in the country caused by natural calamities or man-made disasters. Forgetting all worries and problems, makes you stress free so better go out and have a white sand escapade until you find relief.

While walking in the sand some merchants were selling their hand-made handicrafts and artworks, they were so creative and skillful some tourist bought it at reasonable price.

La Union is the known as the "Birthplace of Surfing in the Philippines" so when you visit there, make sure you try surfing as one of the highlight in your itinerary, if you are extreme adventure enthusiast or a curious adventurer and first timer to surf, don't miss it.

La Union is the "Surfing Capital of the North" so when you get the chance to travel make sure to include it on your bucket list. I have tried surfing myself, it was so fun and I enjoyed riding on the waves though I was not able to balance myself. At first, it was so scary because I do not know how to swim and only the lace attached to my feet on the surfing board served as a lifebuoy. I did not wear a lifejacket and I have never seen anyone wearing it while practicing surfing so for many attempts to balance myself on the surfing board while riding on the waves, my knees were too afraid to stand so I need more practice and confidence next time. Although my stay in La Union was only 5 days and 4 nights, I still enjoyed the place and wanted to come back. I could say that I left my heart in San Fernando, La Union when I returned to Mindanao.
How about you where did you travel and left your heart in?

Wow! It's such a lovely beach! In what town of La Union is Aureo located?
Yes, it is Sis. π San Fernando is the location π do you live near there?
Oh, thanks for the info! No, I don't live in La Union, but I studied in Agoo when I was in college. π
That's great, that was one of my Mom's assigned area, I just happened to see Agoo while riding the bus but I'd like to explore that place too.
Wow that's so cool...
Barefooted in the sand is a kind of healing oneself. Its believed to have a benefits in mind..Being exposed in
sunlight boosts good mood.
That is true and lucky are the ones who live nearby who have direct access to it without having to pay entrance fee as they can go there whenever they feel something wrong within their body or just need to have a breathing ground away from toxic environment or stressful situation.
Yeah I agree on that!
It's an advantage on their part if they're living near the shoreπ
π
Ohayou Gozaimasu π Have a great day!

Yes, Sis. their sand seems pristine but I have never been to Boracay π maybe one of these days I could visit and compare the difference too
