A fact you may or may not know about men on horses.
If the statue of whomever on horseback is shown with both front legs raised off the ground this denotes the person died on the battlefield
If the statue has one leg raised as in the case of Herzog Ernst II, this means he died of his injuries but died away from the battlefield
If the statue has all four horse legs on the ground means that the rider just died

That's super interesting. I didn't know any of that. That's good to know. I don't think I've ever seen a statue where both legs were raised. That must be somewhat rare.
