that really does not look like India , the streets are empty, deserted.
The frescoes and the architecture are in a lovely state of decay, They must have been amazing when not battered by time.

If this was on the tourist route everything would have been repainted, tarted up, and the magic would have been lost. Great find

Yeah, and I could stay longer just to enjoy walks in solitude, if not some toxic "friendship" with a local who started stalking me. :(

No doubt. So... If someone is in India, Churu is a must - before its frescoes disappear or are renovated (who knows).
