Greetings everyone. Today, I'll be sharing a story with you about Kadıköy, Istanbul, where I visited my sister for a week's school holiday. Istanbul's weather is simply wonderful. Despite being a busy city, every detail is uniquely beautiful.

Bügün sizlerle okulun 1 hafta tatil olması nedeni ile kız kardeşimin yanına gittiğim İstanbul’dan Kadıköy’ü anlatacağım. İstanbul havası başlı başına mükemmel bir şehir. Yoğun bir şehir olmasına rağmen her detayı ayrı bi güzel.
My sister lives in Ümraniye, so our destination was only 40 minutes away. So, thanks to its proximity, we had breakfast in comfort, got ready like princesses, and then headed off to the bus. I love making plans with my sister. She's more understanding and more organized than my other siblings. That's why we can easily visit our destinations. We also return home early. This way, we can make a more meticulous and planned trip, which will be remembered fondly. Compared to group trips, every trip I take with her is perfect 😘💖
Kız kardeşim Ümraniyede oturduğu için gideceğimiz yer 40 dk idi. O yüzden yakınlığı nedeni ile rahat rahat kahvaltımızı yapıp prensesler gibi hazırlandıktan sonra otobüse doğru yola çıktık. Kız kardeşimle plan yapmayı çok seviyorum. Diğer kardeşlerime göre hem daha anlayışlı hem daha benim gibi planlı programlı. Bu yüzden gideceğimiz yerlere hem rahat rahat geziyoruz. Eve dönüşümüz de erken oluyor. Böyle daha titiz ve planlı bi gezi yapıp hatırlarda güzel bir şekilde kalıyor. Toplu yapılan gezilere binaen onunla yaptığım her gezi mükemmel 😘💖.
When we arrived in Kadıköy, we first took in some sea air in the square. There, a young musician was sitting at his desk, singing, "Mağusa Limanı," my favorite song. Some fresh air, my favorite song, my brother, simit (Turkish bagel), and most importantly, peace. It felt so good after a bit of work.
Kadıköy’e geçtiğimiz de ilk olarak meydanında biraz deniz havası aldık. Orada genç bir müzisyen masasını kurmuş şarkı söylüyordu. En sevdiğim “Mağusa Limanı” şarkısını söylüyordu. Biraz temiz hava, en sevdiğim şarkı , kardeşim, simit ve en önemli huzur. Biraz olsun iş ortamından sonra çok güzel geldi.
From there, we entered the market. First, we stopped at a dessert shop for tea and dessert. They had a variety of pasta and desserts. We chose raspberry and forest fruit desserts. We savored our desserts and enjoyed them with pleasant conversation. The tea was warm and welcoming. It was a wonderful way to pass the time in the middle of the day. The desserts were delicious. Eating outside would have been a bit easier, but they were delicious. The colorful shelves made the desserts visually appealing.
Oradan pazara girdik. Önce çay ve tatlı için bir tatlıcıya uğradık. Çeşit çeşit makarna ve tatlılar vardı. Çeşitlerden ahududu ve orman meyveli tatlıları seçtik. Tatlılarımızın tadını çıkardık ve keyifli bir sohbet eşliğinde yedik. Çay sıcak ve samimiydi. Gün ortasında vakit geçirmek için harika bir yoldu. Tatlılar lezzetliydi. Dışarıda yemek biraz daha kolay olurdu ama lezzetliydiler. Rengarenk raflar tatlıları görsel olarak çekici kılıyordu.
The cafes in the back streets provide a beautiful setting for relaxing. We took some photos here. My sister wasn't too keen on taking photos, but I wore her out a bit. 😊 From there, we went to Candy Zaa, a candy cafe. The ground floor is candy, and the upper floor is a cafe. The candy section offers all kinds of sweets. Among them are lollipops, dragees, Turkish delights, jelly beans, and all sorts of other candies. This place truly reflects children's inner worlds. Even as an adult, it made me very happy. We bought some things here and sat upstairs. The teddy bears in the cafe section were so cute. And the fact that there was no one else there was a bit of an advantage. We shopped here and rested a bit. We bought some candies to take home as gifts for our families.
Ara caddelerinde cafeler dinlemek için güzel bir görünüm sağlamış şehirde. Burada biraz fotoğraf çekindik. Kız kardeşim çok hoşlanmasada biraz onu fotoğraf çekme konusunda yordum😊. Buradan şeker cafesi olan Candy Zaa’ya gittik. Burasının alt katı şeker üst tarafı cafe. Şekerlerin olduğu bölümde her türlü şekerlemeler mevcut. Bunlar arasında lolipop, draje şekerler, lokumlar, jelibonlar, her türlü çeşit şekerlemeler mevcut. Burası çocuklar için onların iç dünyasını çok yansıtıyordu. Bi yetişkin olarak beni bile çok mutlu etti. Buradan bişeyler alış üstta oturduk. Cafe bölümündeki ayıcıklar çok tatlıydi. Ve kimsenin olmaması biraz avantajlarımız arasındaydı. Burda alışverişimizi yapıp güzelce dinlendik. Bu şekerlerden ailerimize giderken götürmek için hediyeler aldık.
After leaving Candy Zaa, we began wandering down a side street. Here, I noticed the New Year's Eve designs. Even though the new year was only a month away, the celebrations in Kadıköy had begun early, with the streets decorated and illuminated. We browsed the designs here for a bit before heading out.
Candy Zaa şeker cafesinden ayrıldıktan sonra ara cadde üzerinden dolanmaya başladık. Burada yıl başı için hazırlanmış konseptler dikkatimi çekti. Daha yeni yıla 1 aydan fazla olmasına rağmen Kadıköy’de kutlamalar caddelerin süslenmesi ve ışıklanması ile erken başlamıştı. Burada biraz konseptlere bakınıp çıktık.
It was time for my brother and I to go home. We headed there to catch the bus. This place is amazing. Kadıköy, with its picturesque views of every color, is a truly happy place. It's definitely one of the places I'd recommend to my friends. You're so beautiful, Istanbul. So busy, yet so beautiful. See you again. Thank you for reading🌸💖.
