Riverside bar in Bangkok

Just a few walks from Wat Pho, we found this bar with a really great view of the Chao Phraya river, thanks to Google maps.

It was the Arun Restaurant & Bar located in Tha Ruea Daeng Alley in Bangkok. It was about 5pm when we got there, and the sun was already setting. What a perfect timing for a magnificent view!

We didn't spend a lot of time searching for a bar near Wat Pho cos we just wanted to sit down and drink something for a while (after visiting the temple ofc!) and we just went to the first bar we saw but BOOM all of a sudden we are directly in front of Wat Arun! We can see the temple clearly and all the boats passing by the river. It's really great from afar even though we haven't had the chance to visit it hahah but this was still satisfying.

The weather at that time was really not an ideal weather to enjoy the view. There wasn't much wind blowing and if there was, it was warm lol. The sun directly hit our faces as well, so those who aren't used to the tropical weather will definitely feel uncomfortable.

For a tropical girl like me, I really enjoyed it regardless. Look at that view!!! The sun setting behind Wat Arun gave it a golden look, highlighting all those gold stuff in the temple. :D

Looks like some Thailand tourism photo lol "Visit Thailand!"

Those are Wat Pho temple and I think we can see the Grand Palace as well.

The drinks were OK, at least my margarita was. It was really strong tho. We didn't try the other drinks or the foods cos we left early since we wanted to swim at the hotel cos we were sweaty AF but I kinda regret it now looking at the night photos of this place... just stunning!! Maybe next time we can come back here (or somewhere) and stay til night so we can see the magnificent lights in Wat Arun. If you happen to visit, JUST WAIT TIL NIGHT! There's a lot of lights and shit you are going to miss, trust me. :D

Whooooaaa!! In Thailand!!! Can we gather a few Hivians and do some IRL meet upsss!!!

Aaaa we left already!! :/ Hopefully next time! :D

Gotta love the filmic look of Fuji X photos. Very appealing. As someone who (still) shoots lots of film, it's the closest you can get using a digital camera.

Bangkok looks awesome.

It’s the main reason why I chose Fuji over other brands. I haven’t shot a film yet (so can’t really compare) but it’s nice to hear that from you. :D
