I didn't know you'd sneaked off to the museum with those young ladies, you crafty devil!

I went to the museum on the last day of HiveFest because I wanted to see how they presented the colonial era, the Japanese occupation, and the Emergency. It took me ages to find it - I got lost in the shopping mall and didn't realize you had to go through the train station towards "Platform B" to get to the place!

Well worth it, though.

I think from memory the South East Asian region in the wee past were filled with blood thirsty Asian pirates.

I recommend the LibriVox recordings of "Among Malay Pirates" by A. E. Henty for a ripping yarn of British chaps and their Malay allies taking the pirates down a peg or two:
