It’s nice to wander when the weather is good because we can really see the beauty of the place. At this time, there are birds flying in the sky. Many voices of insects can be heard such as grasshopper and other types of insects.
The Manticao area has a large river called the Manticao river. It is one of the major rivers here in Misamis Oriental and it will greatly help the people living here in the area. There are a wide variety of foods available here on the river. One here is lobster, clams, fish, and so on.
The area here on the river is also fertile due to the landslides from the mountains due to heavy rains and flooding. In fact, other people have already made it a garden here and as far as I can see, their plants are rather big and healthy to grow.
Because Misamis Oriental leads the Area full of coconut plantation most of the areas located here in the town are full of coconuts. Somewhere along the river there are coconuts planted and when I saw those plants, they were purely healthy because of the fertilizers put in here. When I looked at the area, I saw the abundance of the area due to the wide variety of vegetables, plants and so-called valuable crops like coconut.
I noticed in that area, the lands were getting more and more eroded due to rain and flooding. The ground is so soft that it crumbles very easily. When I saw this coconut, it was about to collapse, especially when there was another big flood and rain.
Here in the area there are various types of wood found here such as tugas, germilina, mahogany and other types of hardwoods that are used for building a house. The Local government here in Manticao is implementing a law for banning cutting of trees here located here.
Due to the lush trees that can be seen here, you can also see here a variety of birds that roam the tree branches and some fly in the sky. When I visited the place, I felt the fresh place, fresh air and loneliness in the place that all that could be heard was the chirping of the birds. It shows that they are happy with the place they are located. Trees grow tall and wave their leaves because of the fresh air in the area.
The name of this type of fruit is abana, many benefits can be provided by this fruit such as deworming for children. It's also great to make an abana shake and the kids will definitely love it. Abana leaves can cure for stomach aches and wounds. It is a wound medicine called antimicrobial and wound cleansing. Just boil it and rub it on the wounds.
Another thing I saw when I wandered the area was this atis fruit. It also has beautiful and good benefits for our body, it can also treat stomach ache and diarrhea. The taste of this fruit is sweet and it is a favorite of people especially children.

Here are another variety of wild plants and it is this mushroom that grows on the coconut tree. The in harvest type of plant, grows on coconut cuttings or on dead coconut trees. It is inedible and many types of mushrooms are inedible and with it poisonous.
There are several types of mushrooms that can be used for home decoration. One is already called the elephant ear mushroom. Add it to the decoration, dry it in the sun, apply varnish and it can be decorated.
I also watched this a portion of the area with a large hole collapsing. According to people who go in and out of the area, it seems to have been dug up because of the treasure hunt. What happened was depressing because it only did damage to the area. Many people are upset because of the treasure trove activity so it is stopped. But it’s all too late and it’s crumbling and people’s prediction, it will continue to crumble until this place disappears. I was sad looking at the place but I could do nothing but pity.
