I feel like the most impactful pictures were those of the seagulls attacking the rubbish. The side effects of tourism that are carefully edited out. With the arrival of people, so comes the arrival of their trash.
I would wager that it isn't the inhabitants of the place that don't care about the rubbish, but the tourists know that they won't be back again, and they won't need to worry about no taking their rubbish with them, or placing it into a bin that isn't overflowing.
They, in some way, become the tourist attraction, in an interesting sense.
In fact, I wanted to convey the essence that local authorities should better control garbage collection, because this may be due to the negligence of the workers themselves. crazy that it was allowed even on the territory of the majestic Vatican.🤯
