What’s up my dear Hiver’s! I hope everything goes well with you’ll. May we all have a wonderful day ahead as we manifest all the good and best things in life.
This year 2025 will never be left out of vacation as we welcome the first month visiting an island. For today’s blog I will sharing you here an island that is rich in nature and that is Olango Island here in Cebu, Philippines. Well, well, well honestly speaking it doesn’t really differ greatly compared to other islands but what I love about this place is not that crowded and the marine animals are well conserve.
Lately I really wanted to recharge my soul and let the gentle sounds of the waves at the beach dominates my mind. And it really helps me to reset and recharge away from dramas of life and be at peace for a moment. Of course, a beach will literally reflect to or our life because it could be calm or still and rough or rigid. After all, all we have is our self.
It is an extra special day after all since I have my husband with me travelling in this place. It is our first time to visit this place that is why I planned ahead my itinerary and how to get there. So, I will be sharing below a few details on how to get there and you might be visiting also in the future.
How to get there?
Exact location: Olango Island, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu
BY COMMUTE: Ride any jeepney to SM City Cebu. From there, you can ride a 01K jeepney going to Parkmall or if you are from Cebu City, you can ride 01K jeepney from Emall. When you get to Parkmall, ride a jeepney heading to Soong and drop off at Hilton port beside Movenpick Hotel. Ride a motorized boat going to Santa Rosa Port of Olango Island. You can then travel by bicycle or a motorcycle to get to the different tourist attractions in the island.
Pag-utlan Camp
- This is where we stayed for 2days and 1 night by a camp. And guess what, it was a fun experience because there are few campers who stayed that day and some are playing music and do bonfire. We also got to experience meeting other individuals who are from different part of Cebu. It is a budget friendly though because the camping area fee is only 100 pesos. This is your sign to go on camping trip with your loved ones instead of any night out party.
On the second day we tried to visit the Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary and of course through a boat. It's the ultimate spot for a day trip or an overnight getaway where you can quickly drive away. It is also a breath-taking view while looking at the wide bluish water of the island.
Another memorable moments we had is the seafood which are very affordable compared in our town. It is so tasty and fresh though I am allergic to seafood but no one can resist… well, I’ll gonna take antihistamine later. Lol.
We haven’t really got a chance to visit other places because we only have 3days there but it is still worth it because we able to experience the unforgettable camping and tasty food. If I will be asked If I’m gonna visit Olango Island again in the future? My answer would be yes. I will definitely visit the place again soon. I hope you guys will try it too.
I hope you had a great day! This is #xoloveshoney and I’ll see you again on my next blog.

you will surely love it! 😊 @johntheroamer
Its so pretty in there, seems like wala pa masyadong nakakaalam ng place if it's not too crowded right. That surely is a perfect place for unwinding. The night view is really amazing too so a perfect spot talaga sya for camping din 🤩. And grabi ka fresh the seafoods 🤤
Trueee 😊 that is definitely why I wanted to visit the place again because it's not crowded and nakaka-relax talaga. ✨
