Hello friends of this fantastic community!! A chilly December day inspired my adventure to Rocca di Garda, a route of approximately 12.5 kilometers promising a pleasant and rewarding experience. My decision to explore the surrounding nature and enjoy the views of Bardolino and Garda turned out to be an excellent choice. I had planned the route well, and I had already identified the Bardolino cemetery parking lot as the starting point. Wearing comfortable shoes and carrying a backpack with some snacks and a water bottle, I ventured along paths through woods and meadows. The beauty of the surrounding landscape captured my attention. The path was good, and I didn't expect to find this beautiful concrete trail at certain points. The route, though not challenging, offered a balanced mix of challenges and pleasures, but fortunately, I am well-trained. During the journey, I passed by some ruins that seemed suspended in time. The cobbled streets and houses with red roofs contributed to creating a charming atmosphere, but it was the silence that struck me that day. Every step brought me closer to my destination, fueling enthusiasm for the discovery of new scenarios and views, and I am very curious. Arriving at Rocca di Garda, my effort was rewarded with an unparalleled visual spectacle. From up there, Bardolino and Garda appeared as jewels nestled near the lake. Despite the sky being veiled by clouds, the magnificence of the scene was not diminished in the slightest. I sat on a rock, savoring the tranquility of the place, while a gentle breeze caressed my face. It had been a long time since I wanted to climb up here, even though I have been here several times in my life. The breathtaking panorama unfolded before me, offering a broad and reassuring view. Contemplating this natural spectacle conveyed a sense of inner calm and satisfaction. Despite the less than ideal weather conditions, I cherished every moment of that day of exploration, even though I also got quite cold. Descending from Rocca di Garda, I reflected on the beauty of nature and the importance of dedicating time to exploring our environment. I thanked the route for giving me positive emotions and a sense of connection with nature, which is what I usually seek. Looking again at the surrounding landscape, I made a promise to myself: to return on a clearer day to fully appreciate the beauty of those places, although it's better to avoid summer because it's too hot here. Concluding my walking day with a grateful smile, I thank nature for its wonders and leave the door open for the next adventure. Rocca di Garda offered me not only a spectacular panoramic view but also an indelible memory of a perfect day spent among the hills overlooking Lake Garda, away from more touristy paths. Thank you, friends, for dedicating your time to reading! See you soon!!
