Simala shrine is located at the mountain in Sibonga, specifically at barangay lindogon. As what the priest and the monk that, it's not called a birhen sa simala since simala was another barangay, and this church was located at the barangay lindogon, but most people know this place as the simala shrine.

Barangay lindogon as a type of mountain that has no water and no plants that grow in here. This church was created of monks, and it was my first time seeing them in a church. I've seen them last time we visit this place but I don't know who they are. As what they shared to us in the middle on the mass they came here without nothing.

The miraculous saint of mama mary was a reject of sculpturist it is place on the side to throw but this monk they keep it and brought it in barangay lindogon and that's start their journey. As time went by, this place became famous. This place was filled with locals and tourists.

This place didn't fail to amaze me. While walking going to the shrine you will greet by these souvenirs and selling flowers. There were different carenderia to chose on. It's better to bought some souvenirs outside for you tojust put on the spot for the holy water.

This is the corner of those lighting the candles and praying. It is filled with different colors. Some of the devotees who came here said that these candles were a little pricey, but little did they know the church has only 5 pesos interest in each candle since they just order this bunch of candles. These 5 pesos will be divided for those charities and for the new church on the side.

The landscape of this shrine was truly pretty; it was forbidden for the people to come here to preserve its beauty.Every detail of this place was incredible.

As the mass ended, we decided to line up and had to kiss the saint of mama mary. To keep the place clean, devotees will take up their shoes, I am thinking, what if people will steal our shoes? But it's never gonna happen.

Yes, it surprised me too when the priest explained it. It’s one of those small details that many people don’t really know, but it makes the place even more special once you do.
