Summer is just around the corner here in the Philippines and I just miss the fantastic beach and infinity pool of Santiago Bay in Camotes, Island, Cebu, Philippines. Camotes Island is truly an Island paradise here in the Philippines with a lot of beautiful beaches to offer that keeps every tourist coming back in the place.
The pristine white sands of the Santiago Beach stretch for almost a kilometer. I really enjoyed catching the sunrise right here and I'm so happy that a rainbow show up during this day. I had a great time swimming at their infinity pool while being surrounded with the incredible view of the resort. Santiago Bay Garden and Resort ensures that every guest would experience only the best service while staying in the island.
How to get here?
YOU CAN TAKE A FERRY: There are many ferries coming from Cebu Island going to Camotes Island. Firstly is from Cebu City Port. Secondly is from Mactan Wharf. Lastly is from Danao Port. You can freely choose which port you want to ride a ferry depending as well on the port that's more accessible on your end from the place where you are coming from.
RIDE A JEEPNEY: Upon arriving at Consuelo Port in Camotes, there are many jeepneys waiting outside the port so you can take those going to Santiago Bay Beach and Garden Resort. On the other hand, if you wish to have a faster option, you may hire motorbikes, locally known as habal-habal, to take you to the resort. There are also motorbikes that are for rent in Camotes if you know how to drive around. The rate of this is per day. The locals are very friendly here so you could have a smooth negotiation with them.
