In my Previous Post, I shared with you the amazing tourist attractions in Siquijor Island, Philippines. That includes Balete Fish Spa with the famous 400-year old Balete Tree, Cambugahay Falls with the famous "Tarzan swing" feat. the human drone locals, the secret beach or Balas Balas Beach that's truly a hidden paradise, Larena Triad Coffee Shop and Restaurant with the panoramic view of the neighboring islands like Negros, Cebu and Bohol, the incomparable sunset at Runik, and the unique interior of Baha Bar.
Now, let me take you to the places we explored on our last day in the Island of Siquijor.
The next day, we packed our things early and visited BuCafe in the mountains of Siquijor before leaving the Island.
BuCafe (Bukid Café) is a budget-friendly café located in Cansayang, San Juan, Siquijor. If you're looking for a stress free haven, BuCafe is definitely on the list. They are open from Monday- Sunday except Wednesday.
We were not able to try out their food since they would start serving at 9:30 A.M. and we arrived here at around 7:00 A.M. However, the owners were kind enough to let us enter and enjoy the view for a moment. They also understood that it was our last day in Siquijor and we had to visit one more tourist spot after here.
I learned that the best time of the day to be here is when it's about sunset time since BuCafé has also the best sunset in the Island of Siquijor. Maybe next time, we would see it for ourselves if we happen to go back here. But for now, all I can say is that this place is just so relaxing and enticing.
After visiting BuCafe, we went straight to the ticketing office in Siquijor Island to buy our tickets going back to Dumaguete through Aleson Shipping. And then from Dumaguete, we will take a plane ride going back to our hometown in Cebu City. For our plane ticket, we had it booked already before going here. I also made a detailed blog on this on the first part of my Siquijor travel adventure.
After buying our ticket going to Dumaguete City, we went to the last destination on our itinerary which is Aquamare Beach Camp Resort since we still had 2 hours left before our departure.
This resort is located in Sandugan, Larena, Siquijor. This place offers a glamping type of accommodation to their guest and it is just so unique! We were not able to check in here since we stayed in San Juan, Siquijor area, but the staffs were kind enough to show me around what Aquamare Beach Camp Resort could offer. I will be sharing this with you just in case you happen to visit Siquijor anytime soon and you would choose to stay here.
From the entrance, you will walk through this pathway to reach their restaurant and accommodation. Just few steps away from the entrance, there's a gate on the right side and this is where their glamping accommodations were located as well as the swimming pool.
Their swimming pool is 5-feet deep and it is surrounded with the glamping sites.
They do have three room categories with different rates (all with aircon) and here's the list;
Deluxe Dome (2 persons) with detached private bathroom
Room Rate: 1 Full Double Bed- Php 2,500.00 ($44.00)
Family Dome (4 persons) with ensuite bathroom
Room Rate: 2 Full Double Beds - Php 3,800.00 ($66.88)
Premium Dome (2 persons) with ensuite bathroom
Room Rate: 1 Full King Bed- Php 3,200.00 ($56.32)
Additional details:
- Extra bed is at Php 500.00 ($8.80) per night/person
- Check in time is at 2:00 P.M. and check-out time is at 12:00 noon
- Rates are subject to change without prior notice
- Rates are inclusive of taxes and service charge
- Breakfast not included
For more inquiries, they are also very active on their Facebook page at Aquamare Beach Camp.
After checking on the accommodations available, we went straight to their receiving office and restaurant to order some food and here are some incredible memories that I was able to capture.
We ordered pizza and drinks before heading to the Port of Siquijor Island. The pizza was so good and it truly satisfied our cravings. I'm also sharing here their menu to choose from.
And that ends my Siquijor Island adventure. Such an incredible one! These are just some of the amazing tourist attractions in the Island and there is so much more to explore here. Which of these destination that you love the most? I would be glad to hear those in the comment section. Please feel free to swing by.

These establishments are so nice! Would love to stay in the glamping resort! And the bucafe looks so cozy and relaxing! The owner is really kind to let you in before their opening hours.
Hello, @wittyzell. Thank you so much for dropping by. Yes yes it is so nice there. They are also expanding as of the moment to have more rooms to cater every tourist or locals. A must-visit place indeed. I agree, the owner of BuCafe is really kind. They just let us enjoy the place. I also read a lot of good reviews about their food & coffee.
