This is your @janineylicous blogger from Cebu and today I will be sharing a travel blog that is perfect for this summer season. This is actually my first time to visit this place and I am very much fortunate and grateful that I able to come to places like this because it truly identified as the beauty of the southern part of Cebu. This place is called Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort which is located at Sumilon Oslob, Philippines.
From the name itself Bluewater, it truly describes the place and when you arrived you will witness such crystalized blue water of the beach. I know for sure that this isn’t common to some since Cebu is very well known to have a lot of beautiful beaches but this resort is having an extra beauty that is perfect for summer vacation or any kind of relaxation that you want. I actually have the privileged to visit this place as a gift from someone and I am very much thankful for it. I stayed for like 2days and one night only and I could say, Sumilon island is a perfect place to connect with nature where you meet comforts. You can also do various things like camping, swimming, fishing or just looking around and enjoy the view.
In addition to that, this resort is definitely the best way to unplug the gadgets… why? Because you will really enjoy by just looking around and for me it is best to bring here your family and friends, specially the kids could enjoy catching fishes because they have a catch-and-release fishing so it actually teaches them patience, focus and appreciation of the nature around them. So far, as per personal experience – this is the first time I got a very nice beach photos because the place itself is perfect-picture and don’t need any filters or photo enhancers. If someone would ask me if I’m gonna go back to this place… definitely yes. It doesn’t need to cost a lot to experience a luxuries type of vacation.

Weekdays (Mon-Fri)
Php 1,500 net per person
Weekends (Sat-Sun)
Php 1,800 net per person
Inclusions:
- Day use from 8:00am-3pm
- Free rides on scheduled boat transfers to and from Bangcogon Mainland
- Weekdays: served with lunch with one round of drink. Free upgrade to lunch buffet if available.
- Weekends: Joining lunch buffet with free-flowing juice drink from 11:00am-1:00pm
- Free use of Pulo swimming pool and private beach
- Free use of infinity pool from 8:30am – 12:00noon
- Free use of beach towel
- Free use of holding area
- Free wi-fi access in the restaurant area
- Free availing of island fun-filled activities on a first come first serve basis:
Limited use of non-motorized lagoon activities
Lagoon fish feeding and fishing (catch and release)
Volleyball
Island Trekking
Note: Children aged from 5-11 years old are charged half of the day use rates.
With regards to the food and drinks… it is really a fire! Yes, it is delicious and I could really see that the foods are well prepared and the staff are very accommodating to your needs. Beyond the foods and drinks, the ambiance of the place definitely adds to the overall experience! My heart is full that I able to experience this kind of short travel in my life, this also made me inspire to work hard so I could try to experience more travel destinations in the future. And I would like to bring my family with me so they can also experience this. I really appreciate the beauty of Cebu because you no longer need to go out of town to experience a very satisfying nature trip that is affordable. Even the foreign nationals will spend time and money just to have a vacation here. For sure, this will not end here because in the upcoming months or years I will definitely try my best to save up so I could visit more places here in Cebu.
