Hello everyone! Let's take a walk through beautiful St. Petersburg on winter's eve 😊
About twice a year I come to my favorite city - St. Petersburg. For me it is the place - soul, city - love. I lived there for several years before I moved to Switzerland.
I miss it very much. And this time I had a one-on-one date with the city. It was magical. When everything came together - my favorite time of year, my favorite city.
Oh, how much love was there! It was snowy, but it wasn't too cold.
St. Petersburg is very charming in winter. ice on the facades of houses, snow-covered streets.
Так получается, что примерно раз в полгода я приезжаю в свой любимый Санкт-Петербург. Для меня это город – душа, город – любовь. Я жила там до переезда в Швейцарию.
Очень сильно скучаю. И в этот раз я устроила свидание с городом один на один. Это было волшебно. Когда все слилось воедино – любимое время года, любимый город. Ох, сколько там было любви!
И даже с погодой очень повезло. Выпал снег, но было не очень холодно. Определенный шарм есть у Санкт-Петербурга зимой, обледенелые фасады домов, заснеженные улицы.
I will introduce you to a few major attractions of the city. Kazan Cathedral. It's one of the largest cathedrals in St. Petersburg. Cathedral was built in 10 years (1801-1811) by the architect Andrei Voronikhin.
Познакомлю вас с несколькими основными достопримечательностями города. Казанский собор. Это один из самых крупных соборов в Санкт-Петербурге. Построен он был за 10лет (1801–1811) архитектором Андреем Воронихиным.
St. Isaac's Cathedral at the moment has the status of museum. Cathedral with a rich history that goes back as far as 1706. But the cathedral, as we can see now, was built in 1858 designed by Auguste Montferrand.
Исаакиевский Собор имеет богатую историей, которая начинается аж в 1706 году. Но собор, в том виде, который мы можем видеть сейчас, был возведен в 1858 году по проекту Огюста Монферрана.
Church of the Savior on Blood. It was built on the site of the fatal wounding of Emperor Alexander II. The emperor was wounded on March 1, 1881, and the cathedral was built from 1883 to 1907. It is located on the bank of the Griboyedov Canal in the center of St. Petersburg.
Спас на крови. Был построен на месте смертельного ранения императора Александра II. Император был ранен 1 марта 1881 года, а строили собор с 1883 по 1907 год. Расположен он на берегу канала Грибоедова в самом центре Петербурга.
Not far from this Church is The House of Books (The Singer House). He also is one of the visit's list of the city.
Недалеко от Спаса на крови расположился Дом Книги или как его еще называют Дом компании «Зингер». Он тоже является одной из визитных карточек города.
And here is the house "at five corners". This is the unofficial name of the crossroads where it is located. Four streets intersect here.
А вот и дом «у пяти углов». Так неофициально назван перекресток, где он расположился. Тут пересекаются четыре улицы.
And of course, I can't leave without attention the Trinity Bridge. One of my favorite bridge in St. Petersburg. The bridge connects the Admiralteysky and Petrogradsky islands. The length of the bridge is 582 meters. Not that this information is very necessary, but just imagine, 582 meters of beauty! From the bridge opens up a very beautiful view of the Peter and Paul Fortress, Neva river.
И конечно же не могу оставить без внимания Троицкий мост. Один из моих любимых мостов Санкт-Петербурга. Мост соединяет Адмиралтейский и Петроградский острова. Длина моста составляет 582 метра. Не то, чтобы эта информация была очень нужной, но только представьте, 582 метра красоты, с которой можно любоваться красотой. С моста открывается ну оочень красивый вид на Петропавловскую крепость, Неву
A majestic monument to Catherine II, timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of her accession to the throne.
Куда же без памятников в нашей прогулке. Величественный памятник Екатерине II, приуроченный к 100-летию восшествия её на престол.
These were only a few of St. Petersburg's beautiful places. It is a very beautiful and large city with many interesting places.
