It is inevitable not to think of medieval films when seeing these beautiful photographs. The period buildings and the large wooden doors transport my mind to that time, as you mention.
To be honest, I am not a fan of the interior decorations of this era, I don't like the way the rugs look on the walls, but I must admit that these are a true work of art. What impressed me is the meeting room and the quality of the furniture.
I appreciate that you let us know these beautiful photographs and this whole experience.

That was a particular era and comfort was never the main concern, luxury was. So I'm not a fan of this interior decoration but I take it as normal as that was normal back then. As you, I'm always looking at it as art.
