Qué pena que no hayas podido hacer esta caminata en compañía de tu compañera de trabajo, pero qué bueno que pronto has conseguido a otra compañera para hacer la peregrinación junto a ella.
La verdad es que el costo para unirte a la caminata es muy accesible, sobre todo por el gran servicio que brindan.
Casi todos los años para la peregrinación llueve; por suerte, te faltaban pocos kilómetros para llegar.
Sin dudas, es una enorme satisfacción llegar a la basílica y saludar a la Virgen.
Qué hermoso recuerdo me trajo tu post; primero recordé la peregrinación que se hace en Corrientes hasta la basílica de Itatí, que son más de 80 kilómetros. A este me uní muchas veces siendo adolescente; luego me uní un par de veces a la peregrinación de Luján. Todo lo que comentas es tal cual mi experiencia vivida hace ya muchos años.

It's a shame you couldn't do this walk with your coworker, but it's wonderful that you quickly found another companion to make the pilgrimage with.
The truth is, the cost to join the walk is very affordable, especially considering the great service they provide.
It rains almost every year during the pilgrimage; luckily, you were only a few kilometers away.
Without a doubt, it's a huge satisfaction to arrive at the basilica and greet the Virgin.
What a beautiful memory your post brought back; I first remembered the pilgrimage from Corrientes to the Basilica of Itatí, which is more than 80 kilometers. I joined that one many times as a teenager; then I joined the Luján pilgrimage a couple of times. Everything you mention is exactly like my experience many years ago.
