Venturing off well known paths definitely lead to a different kinds of exploring.

Many years ago we walked alongside railway tracks from Wilderness into George, long entertaining explore, lunch box, water bottle, a 'paper map' always part of kit.

Nice to get out alone!

Hey there Joan yes that is railway line is a fascinating route to explore. As a kid I rode on the train itself. Which was discontinued a few years ago. Much like a lot of our passenger rail network.

Have been on the train a couple of times years ago, that is what led us to actually walk it. Most enjoyable!
