¡Hola amigos de Hive!
Un saludo para todos y les deseo un buen día, hoy quiero compartirles una experiencia muy agradable que tuve en diciembre del 2023. Comparti un día agradable con mi familia, fuimos de visita por primera vez al Ávila.
El avila es una montaña que se extiende por toda Caracas y en el año 1955 fue inaugurado el teleférico convirtiendo la montaña en un lugar turistico para los Venezolanos y todos los que deseen visitarnos.
Greetings to all and I wish you a good day, today I want to share with you a very nice experience I had in December 2023. I shared a nice day with my family, we went on our first visit to Avila.El Avila is a mountain that extends throughout Caracas and in 1955 the cable car was inaugurated, turning the mountain into a tourist attraction for Venezuelans and all those who wish to visit us.
Actualmente el Ávila se llama "Warairarepano" porque el gobierno de Hugo Chavez llego y quiso cambiar muchas cosas del pais, algo con lo que nunca estuve de acuerdo y se que muchos venezolanos tampoco lo están y por eso preferimos seguir llamandola Ávila.
Currently the Avila is called "Warairarepano" because the government of Hugo Chavez arrived and wanted to change many things in the country, something that I never agreed with and I know that many Venezuelans do not agree either and that is why we prefer to continue calling it Avila.
El ascenso en el teleférico dura unos 15 minutos o quizas 20 realmente no estaba atento con el tiempo solo iba admirando el paisaje de toda la ciudad desde una vista aérea y los paisajes de la montaña, es una experiencia muy agradable para compartir con familia o amigos y pasar un día en contacto con la naturaleza.
The ascent in the cable car takes about 15 minutes or maybe 20 minutes, I was not really attentive to the time, I was just admiring the landscape of the whole city from an aerial view and the mountain scenery, it is a very nice experience to share with family or friends and spend a day in contact with nature.
Una de las cosas que más admire fue sus caminos rodeados de arboles y diferentes tipos de flores, disfrute de su clima frio y la neblina pasando entre los arboles y las personas que paseaban ese día. Es increible la visión y la creatividad de un presidente de los años 50 que imagino un lugar bonito en la cima de una montaña para compartir en familia y lo mando a construir y se hizo realidad.
One of the things I admired the most was its paths surrounded by trees and different types of flowers, I enjoyed its cold weather and the mist passing through the trees and the people that were walking that day. It is incredible the vision and creativity of a president of the 50's who imagined a beautiful place on the top of a mountain to share with family and sent it to be built and it became a reality.
Arriba en la cima encontrarás muchos locales de comida rapida, dulces y recuerdos ventas de flores y si gustas puedes tomarte un vino o un café mientras disfrutas el paisaje. Tiene una pista de hielo la cual lamento no haber tomado una foto y una cancha para jugar paintball y al final del recorrido llegaras al hotel Humboldt.
At the top you will find many local fast food, candy and souvenir shops and flower sales and if you like you can have a wine or a coffee while enjoying the scenery. There is an ice rink which I regret not taking a picture of and a paintball field and at the end of the ride you will arrive at the Humboldt Hotel.
El hotel Humboldt también fue una obra del mismo presidente "Marcos Pérez Jiménez" en el año 1956 uno de los mejores presidentes que ha tenido Venezuela y se dice que mando a construir el hotel en 200 días y se termino en 199 días.
No pude entrar a tomar fotos ya que solo dejan pasar a los que se estan alojando en el, asi que solo pude tomar fotos desde afuera y espero en algun momento de mi vida poder quedarme en ese hotel y ver desde la ventana del balcón como la neblina cubre todo.
The Humboldt Hotel was also a work of the same president "Marcos Perez Jimenez" in 1956, one of the best presidents that Venezuela has had and it is said that he ordered to build the hotel in 200 days and it was finished in 199 days. I could not enter to take pictures since they only let in those who are staying there, so I could only take pictures from the outside and I hope at some point in my life to stay in that hotel and see from the balcony window as the fog covers everything.
