EL PASO | LANTAPAN BUKIDNON

in Pinmapple3 years ago (edited)

Decided to visit this new place, since my friends have been talking about it.

Lantapan, Bukidnon has a lot of beautiful restaurants and perfect landscape views to visit on and EL PASO is one of them

So they have an entrance fee of 100 pesos (2.09 USD) per head which can be used to buy whatever's on their menu

They used falcata tree as their main design, my only concern about this tree is the time of harvest, so their design has a limit for 7-10 years, depends on the owner though

The place is still under construction...

We ordered buffalo wings, used the claimable entrance fee to pay for it, and added some more for our rice.

Their prices start at (4.18 USD) 200 pesos, regrettably, I didn't take a picture of their messy looking menu

While waiting for our order, we took a tour under the falcata tree where the tables are located

The bonfire area looks cool, I can imagine sitting here with my family or with my best friends and camp

and here's a friend who wanted me to take a picture of her, and I just noticed that Mt. Kitanglad can be seen at the back, It's nice to stay here to chill and drink with friends or lover, etc and see the sunset, but I wouldn't recommend staying for a night.

The design and landscapes look beautiful, the lighting is very natural as well... good for photoshoots of weddings, debut and the likes...

Our order has been served and disappointment was written all over our faces, they forgot to put salt and pepper, we only tasted the spiciness of the chicken, and as we ate our garlic rice, again it's tasteless!

While we were taking pictures earlier, I heard the man on the other table saying " There's nothing good in here at all" I was confused about it, but now, I see why..

I searched their Facebook page to comment, and I wasn't the only one having the same concern,

I'm not a chef, but for someone who can cook basic meals such as this, I can do better, there's a lot of sources in the internet to know how to make this tasteful.

My brother and lyzyl were planning to order a different meal and drinks, but we thought the other meal will be the same, so never mind...

I'd recommend the place only for taking pictures but I will not recommend the food at all, "Take a lot of pictures but eat less in El Paso" 🤣 I do hope they change their chef to a good cook so that their price can be given justice and customers will come back over and over again.

GOOD DAY!

Sort:

It's a shame about the food. The landscape and surroundings look great. I like the design on the wall with the cut-up tree barks. Was planning to do this also. !LUV the blog post and have a slice of !PIZZA. :)

kaya nga eh, i hope mag adjust sila sa feedback haha, by planning on doing it ilalagay nyo po sa business nyo? or out of art lang po? curious heheh and thank you sa Luv and pizza 😊

Ilalagay ko sa bahay namin. Parang "art" installation na rin using the cut-up tree trunk. Another option is to have my friend frame it para hindi na kailangan derecho sa wall. I'm planning to get the wood I need from our mango tree. Nasa kapitbahay na kasi ang branches. Puputulin na rin namin. :)

The falcata trees look amazing!:)

Wow what a nice place sir.

Visit ka po minsan heheh

El Paso seems to be a great place and Bukidnon is one of the places I'd like to visit especially the place they call little Baguio.

hello ! you should, theres a lot of beautiful places to visit here and yes ! i think what they call little baguio might be dahilayan? and Senuda area those places are very cold hahah

Sana matigil na itong pandemic na ito para maka-libot na ulit ako ng walang pag-aalinlangan, isa talaga ang Little Baguio sa gusto kong puntahan.
