Thank you @triplug ! Malacca is around 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur to the south, and lots of small and interesting town along the way too.

Malacca, Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur are wonderful places waiting to be discovered, and I would be very excited to spend at least 10 days here.
You might also consider visiting Georgetown in Penang island.
