Until now, when I wrote about a visit to a museum, I also showed you various museum exhibits, mainly sculptures, paintings, instruments. In the Ethnographic Museum, in addition to touch screens, where you can read a lot of interesting information about the countries of the exhibition, the creators of the exhibition went a step further. They created an unusual form of transferring knowledge about the African country - Cameroon. We can ask various facts about Cameroon the Sultan who lived there (or, in fact, his hologram).

We can ask the Sultan the following questions: "Is it warm in Cameroon? What is the highest mountain in Cameroon? What does Cameroon look like? Do you have natural resources in cameroon? How do you care for the environment in Cameroon? What do you eat in Cameroon?"

Możemy zadać Sułtanowi następujące pytania: "czy jest u was ciepło? Jaka jest najwyższa góra Kamerunu? Jak wygląda Kamerun? Czy macie złoża naturalne? Jak dbacie o środowisko? Co jecie w Kamerunie?

In the video below you can see one of the Sultan's statements I have recorded. It concerns what the weather is in Cameroon, is it warm there, the Sultan says it usually does, and during the winter the temperature drops to 20 degrees and he makes a gesture as if he is cold, he is trembling. Such non-verbal reactions have a significant advantage over the dry facts that can be written next to the exhibit. I think that this interactive exhibit can be especially useful for children who by talking to the Sultan's hologram are able to become more interested and learn more about the African country - Cameroon, although it can also be a cool attraction for adults.

The moment when you approach the exhibit is also cool, you can first see the sultan's throne itself, and when you press the interactive screen, the Sultan's hologram appears and starts speaking. It's a pity you can't ask the Sultan your own questions 😉

This is fantastic. I love seeing how museums are increasing their use of technology and getting more creative year by year. This hologram is such a great example of that. Just hope it continues!

Yes, so do I. Some time ago I was at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum and there you could open a drawer with the name of a specific piece of music composed by Chopin and then it started to play. There were many different modern ideas to add variety to the museum tour experience. I liked it very much!

Haha you must have enjoyed all this.😄
Thank you for the new places and new dishes everyday 😊

Yes, and some people think museums are boring. And would I ever have a chance to talk to a sultan from Cameroon if I hadn't gone to this museum? 😉
