Today I accidentally entered the park that I had on the way and, as I have already seen many times, while in Warsaw, when you enter a random park, you can usually discover something amazing there. Most of them have a rich history behind them. See what I saw in the Ujazdowski Park in the capital city.
Przypadkiem weszłam dzisiaj do parku, który miałam po drodze i jak się już wielokrotnie przekonałam, będąc w Warszawie, gdy wchodzi się do przypadkowego parku przeważnie można odkryć tam coś niesamowitego. Większość z nich ma za sobą bogatą historię. Zobaczcie co ciekawego zobaczyłam w parku Ujazdowskim w stolicy.
Ujazdowski Park was established in 1983-1986, it is located in the center of Warsaw, at Aleje Ujazdowskie between ul. Piekna and Na Rozdrożu Square. There is a large pond in the park, as well as numerous magnificent trees, there are also nature monuments: black walnut, Norway maple (Schwedler variety) and English oak.

Park Ujazdowski powstał w latach 1983-1986, jest położony w centrum Warszawy, przy Alejach Ujazdowskich pomiędzy ul. Piękną i placem Na Rozdrożu. Na terenie parku znajduje się duży staw, a także liczne okazałe drzewa, można tu też znaleźć pomniki przyrody: w postaci następujących drzew:orzech czarny, klon pospolity (odmiana Schwedlera) i dąb szypułkowy.

It is a wonderful enclave in the city center where you can relax and feel the romantic atmosphere. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of people were walking in the park.
Jest to cudowna enklawa, w centrum miasta, w której można się zrelaksować i poczuć romantyczny nastrój. W parku mimo pandemi koronawirusa spacerowało bardzo dużo ludzi.
A nice place in the park is the pergola by the pond, covered with vines. Colorful heathers grow by the steps leading to the pergola. You can sit on a bench under pergola and admire the beautiful view of the pond and the rest of the park.
Fajnym miejscem w parku jest pergola nad stawem, porośnięta winoroślą. Przy schodach prowadzących do pergoli rosną kolorowe wrzosy. Można pod nią usiąść na ławeczce i podziwiać piękny widok na staw i dalszą część parku.
At the entrance to the park there is a monument to Ignacy Jan Paderewski.
He is a famous Polish pianist, composer, and independence activist. Under his direct influence, President Woodrow Wilson included in his ultimatum conditional on the signing of the Treaty of Versailles by the United States, point 13, demanding the consent of the parties to the treaty to the sovereignty of Poland - thanks to which the treaty included the creation of an independent Polish state.

Przy wejściu do parku znajduje się pomnik Ignacego Jana Paderewskiego.
To znany polski pianista, kompozytor, a także działacz niepodległościowy. Pod jego bezpośrednim wpływem prezydent Woodrow Wilson umieścił w swoim ultimatum uzależniającym podpisanie przez Stany Zjednoczone traktatu wersalskiego 13 punkt domagający się zgody stron traktatu na suwerenność Polski – dzięki któremu w traktacie zapisano utworzenie niepodległego państwa polskiego.

There is also a sculpture of Ewa in the park, which when it was created caused a lot of controversy. Its author is Edward Wittig.
W parku jest takźe rzeźba Ewy, która gdy powstała wywołała duże kontrowersje. Jej autorem jest Edwarda Wittiga.
I liked that several stately trees in the park were supported by wooden poles. I like this way of taking care of trees. I remember from my trip to Japan that many trees there were supported by various interesting structures.
Podobało mi się, że kilka okazałych drzew w parku było podtrzymywanych przez drewniane słupki. Lubię ten sposób dbania o drzewa. Pamiętam z mojej wycieczki do Japonii, że tam wiele drzew było wspieranych różnymi ciekawymi konstrukcjami.
As you can see, in the park you can see that it's already autumn. I've seen parents with their children picking fall leaves. I like this photo in which I captured the bicycle wheel reflecting off the puddle and the autumn leaves and chestnuts inside. Do you like autumn? I know that you can find something interesting in it, for example colorful leaves on trees, but for me it is not enough. Today, despite the sunny weather, I was wearing a hat and a jacket, you could feel this piercingly cold breath of autumn air.
Jak widać, w parku można zauważyć, że mamy już jesień. Widziałam rodziców zbierających z dziećmi jesienne liście. Podoba mi się to zdjęcie na którym uwieczniłam koło od roweru odbijające się od kałuży i znajdujące się w niej jesienne liści i kasztany. A wy lubicie jesień? Wiem, że można znaleźć w niej coś ciekawego, chociazby kolorowe liście na drzewach, ale dla mnie to za mało. Dzisiaj mimo słonecznej pogody miałam na sobie czapkę i kurtkę, czuć było ten przenikliwie zimny powiew jesiennego powietrza.
I really liked this tree - plane tree. I rarely see them. It had an amazing gray and white bark, covered with black tinges in places, massive branches and interestingly shaped leaves. It would be nice to climb them ;)
Bardzo spodobało mi się to drzewo - platan. Rzadko je widuję. Miało niesamowitą szaro-białą kore, pokrytą miejscami czarnymi zabarwieniami, masywne gałęzie i liście o ciekawym kształcie. Fajnie by się na nie wspinało ;)
In addition to the sculpture of Ewa, in the Ujazdowski Park there is also a sculpture of a gladiator by Pius Weloński.
Oprócz rzeźby Ewy w parku Ujazdowskim znajduje się też pomnik gladiatora, którego autorem jest Pius Weloński.
A great attraction for children is a huge, modern playground, located in the northern part of the park. Someone who built it created something amazing.
Dużą atrakcją dla dzieci jest ogromny, nowoczesny park zabaw, znajdujący się w północnej części parku. Ktoś kto go zbudował, stworzył cos niesamowitego.
