Como siempre me gusta compartir con ustedes reseñas de los sitios nuevos que tengo la oportunidad de conocer y se trata de la Caminería Nueva que construyeron en la entrada del Parque Nacional Chorro del Indio, en San Cristóbal, Táchira - Venezuela.

As always I like to share with you reviews of new places that I have the opportunity to know and this is the Caminería Nueva that they built at the entrance of the Parque Nacional Chorro del Indio, in San Cristobal, Tachira - Venezuela.

Desde que fue inaugurado tenía ganas de ir. Y una de las formas de pasar por aquí es desde la carretera. El día que visite la caminería fue luego de subir la Montaña El Nevada, ubicada también en este parque nacional. La montaña se puede descender por el mismo camino que se sube o tienes la opción de descender por la carretera. En este caso si quieres ir a la caminería tienes que bajar por esta ultima opción, la carretera. Tomo un poco más de tiempo, pero es más sano para tus rodillas y estas en contacto con la naturaleza y arboles frondosos que te sorprenden con su majestuosidad.

The day I visited the trailhead was after climbing the mountain El Nevada, also located in this national park. The mountain can be descended the same way you go up or you have the option of descending by road. In this case if you want to go to the trail you have to go down the latter option, the road. It takes a little more time, but it is healthier for your knees and you are in contact with nature and leafy trees that surprise you with their majesty.
Bajar por la carretera toma aproximadamente 1 hora o un poco menos, dependiendo del ritmo de los caminantes. El camino te llevará a la entrada de la caminería, que esta construida con materiales que se encuentran en la naturaleza, madera y piedra. Como les mostré en las primeras fotos.

La caminería posee varias ventajas, entre esas es un espacio para los deportistas y además te ayuda a recortar el camino, porque atraviesas la montaña. También te acerca más a la naturaleza, lo que genera un espacio agradable para disfrutar de la tranquilidad.
Going down the road takes approximately 1 hour or a little less, depending on the pace of the hikers. The road will take you to the entrance of the trail, which is built with materials found in nature, wood and stone. As I showed you in the first pictures.
The upper entrance has no sign yet, but you can see it as I show you in the photos. The walkway has several advantages, among those is a space for athletes and also helps you to cut the road, because you cross the mountain. It also brings you closer to nature, which generates a pleasant space to enjoy the tranquility.

Es importante tener cuidado a la hora de descender por el parque, ya que si el piso esta mojado, pueden haber caídas de primer nivel. Así que hay que cuidarse mucho a la hora de bajar.
Al llegar a la entrada principal, se puede apreciar el letrero de la entrada del parque. También unas esculturas de indígenas y animales pertenecientes al Estado Táchira, hechas en cemento y pintadas.

Luego, hay un pequeño parque que fue construido también, en el que se encuentran bustos o esculturas de personajes animados, como Alicia en el País de las Maravillas, Los Picapiedras, El Principito, Miguel el de la Película Coco, Speedy Gonzáles, entre otros.
El parque me pareció muy lindo, es para todas las edades, porque me hizo recordar mi infancia.
Then, there is a small park that was also built, in which there are busts or sculptures of animated characters, such as Alice in Wonderland, The Flintstones, The Little Prince, Miguel from the movie Coco, Speedy Gonzales, among others.
I found the park very nice, it is for all ages, because it reminded me of my childhood.

Disfrute mucho la experiencia, respire aire puro, estuve en contacto con la naturaleza y realice mi actividad favorita, senderismo.
Así que si vienen a San Cristóbal, no se pueden perder este lugar lleno de esplendor y tranquilidad.

Me encanto ese parque, veo que hay muchas esculturas nuevas cuando yo fui eran pocas, una de las cosas que mas me gusto era tocar el agua super fría y la niebla al atardecer.
Si hay muchas esculturas nuevas, hicieron una remodelación! Ahora está más bonito y mucho más cuidado! Tienes que volver! 🤗

I think I would be the first to fall down the park hahaha!!! Very nice those sculptures of the flintstones and the little prince, being a sculptor myself, that would be something I would love to see in person, they look great. I'm sure it would be a very nice experience to visit that place.
