¡Hola mi gente linda ✨💕!
Ubicado aproximadamente a 45 minutos de la ciudad de Barquisimeto (aunque esto varía dependiendo de la zona de Barquisimeto en la que te encuentres), se encuentra Cabudare capital del municipio Palavecino, quien en su momento era mayormente conocida por sus importantes cultivos de caña de azúcar y la ubicación de un central azucarero, en la actualidad se caracteriza por ser una zona residencial que mantiene estrecho contacto con Barquisimeto. Suena irónico decir que durante toda mi vida las visitas a éste lugar han sido super constantes, pues uno de mis tíos vive allí, y aún así ésta es la primera vez que tomé un tiempo para hacer un recorrido por su casco histórico, y es que Cabudare tiene la particularidad de ser un lugar un tanto pequeño, por lo que los lugares históricos a veces pueden pasar desapercibidos o incluso ignorados.
En Venezuela sabemos que hasta el lugar más pequeño tiene su plaza Bolívar, y obviamente Cabudare no es la excepción, y de hecho éste lugar es frecuentemente visitado por todos sus habitantes por allí de mueve el comercio del lugar, si la comparamos con la plaza Bolívar de Barquisimeto podríamos decir que es pequeña, pero si hacemos la misma comparación con por ejemplo la plaza de Santa Rosa, encontramos que la primera es más grande, y de hecho actualmente está muy bien cuidada en cuanto a la jardinería y espacios en donde sentarse. Cercano a la plaza encontramos el Ateneo de Cabudare, que tal y como dicta la placa ubicada en su entrada, fue el lugar donde nació el médico-poeta Dr. Ezequiel Bujanda, allí tuve la oportunidad de ver la exposición de artes "Caminos de Bariquia" y además pude conversar con el administrador del lugar, quién me comentó acerca de las actividades que se están realizando en el lugar.
Actividades no solo culturales, sino también recreativas, y de verdad escuchar el impulso que le están dando al lugar me agradó bastante, como dije estos lugares generalmente pasan desapercibidos por la mayoría de los habitantes, y estas iniciativas pueden hacer que éste lugar tome mayor importancia en la recreación de las personas. Por ésta misma zona también encontramos otro lugar que es característico y es la Ceiba de Cabudare, éste gran árbol se conoce en la historia por ser el lugar donde Simón Bolívar y su ejército acampó, y para mí personalmente representa el lugar donde un gran número de insectos decidió atacarme brutalmente 🤣🤣, tanto que no logré estar sentada mucho rato pues la cantidad de picadas que empecé a sentir fue realmente alarmante para mí 🤣🤣.
