That is pretty cool a shame about the rain but it doesn't worry the whales we get them along our coastline of Byron Bay but they are always to far out to get any photos unless you have a long telescopic lens.

Can't really escape the rain at the end of rainy season. It was very cool nonetheless! Are the whales you have near you the same family or other? I was clueless as to how many different families there are.
