When you think of a desert you say to yourself why would you want to visit a desert country well to my surprise , i did not expect this desert country to be so beautiful and green with nature. Sedona in Arizona showed me different it was a true oasis in the middle of the Arizona desert and by the time you get through this post i think you will agree with me , it was really a paradise not in the sense of a tropical island of course.

Beautiful pictures of your trip...😁
thanks your for your sharing those beautiful pictures and experices
It's true! Everything you write about Sedona is true! I love, love, love it. I lived outside of Phoenix for almost two years and spent time in the beautiful desert. I am a New Englander, so I was surprised by its unusual beauty!
The colors, the formations, nature... it was amazing. I am surprised you didn't try to get to Grand Canyon!(or did you???) You have taken so many incredible shots and it just warms my heart to do a scroll through on them.
They are exquisite!! This could easily have been a #MarketFriday, you had to pay to get there! :)
Thanks for posting in #alwaysaflower, this is such a great post!

Well, seriously, schooling is what drives most moves. Most of the schools are 3-6 months, so I consider myself having lived someplace for a short time when I am there for 6 months.
I haven't been to Australia! Or New Zealand! Or Nigeria. Lots of places, it is just I did take off one year after school and tour internationally and for one year in the states with the kids and used a motorhome and homeschooled. It was awesome!
Grand Canyon is unlike many places. Next time! :)

So much beauty in the desert. Amazing looking cactus. The chapel of the Holy Cross is lovely.

Hiya, @LivingUKTaiwan here, just swinging by to let you know that this post made it into our Honorable Mentions in Your post has been manually curated by the @pinmapple team. I end up there for lunch at least a couple times a year. I've seen bell rock and cathedral rock wearing a mantle of snow. That's special.
So you rode in a jeep in Sedona and didn't ride in a PINK JEEP? I'm surprised. I love your photographs, lots of good ones.
There are several places nearby that really get more of my attention than Sedona itself. There is a really spectacular pueblo and several indigenous ruins within 20 miles that I am really fond of.
Next time you come, let me know if you want some 'insider tips'.
Thanks for a great look at a great place.
Those cacti look beautiful in the photos, I guess they are even better in reality! Beautiful landscapes, thank you for sharing them with us.
incredible post and wonderful pictures, I wish to go in A rizona desert once.
Is just beautiful these colors and nature diverity.
You are welcome, I hope for 😊
Marvelous images! That was the same take I had when I went there in 2011. I was stunned by how green everything was. Hiking in the box canyons it was amazing to be surrounded by greenery with walls of red rock rising above. Thanks for sharing and reminding me to take a look at some of my old pics! :)
You're welcome @kohsamui99!
I flew into Flagstaff from Phoenix. That's when I first saw the incredible scenery from the air. It was a bit of a harrowing flight (windy) but the drive down to Sedona on scenic route 89A is pretty spectacular.
