Hello Worldmappin fam π Let me take you to the cleanest and clearest lake in the Philippines. The water in Kayangan lake is so clear that you can already see the the amazing rock formation beneath the surface that's why it has been awarded the Presidential Fame Award. A unique brackish lake water with about seventy percent freshwater and thirty percent saltwater, and unique surrounding limestone cliffs. You can access Kayangan lake through tour packages or island hopping tour with other tourist groups or hire a boat for a private tour but it's quite expensive. You can save when you join island hopping tour with other tourist.
After disembarking from the boat, to reach the famous Kayangan lake where you can swim and snorkel, you can also see the view deck of Kayangan lagoon. I was momentary in love of Kayangan lagoon where boats were docked and was totally lured with its jaw-dropping crystal clear turquoise water which swept off my feet.
You have to take a short hike up a steep cemented 360 stairs to the famous viewpoint overlooking the jaw-droppingly beautiful Coron bay and majestic view of stone islets and cliffs which is popular spot for picture taking.
Wooden platform erected on the banks of the lake serves as a resting place for swimmers and divers.Wearing life vest is mandatory whether you're a great swimmer or not to keep you safe. Kayangan lake become a favorite spot for free divers because of its calm water condition and unique rock formation underneath and wonderful marine life. You can do snorkeling, dive and explore the underwater marvels or just simply floating on the calm surface and have an intimate rejuvenating connection with nature.
There are caves around the lake but you must enter with a guide. Our group didn't enter the cave because we only have limited time, we still have other island to explore.
I'm so glad I have the opportunity to take a dip into the majestic Kayangan lake, regarded as the cleanest lake in Asia. The serene and peaceful ambience of Kayangan lake creates sense of seclusion and tranquility makes a must-visit for lake lovers or anyone seeking to experience the untouched beauty of nature π

It would be wonderful, I remember when I was there in Palawan I took a boat trip and kayaked in el nido on the lagoon. And there was a few hidden beaches were I could snorkel it was amazing. Except for this fish that was chasing me haha. Howβs your day going are you still in Palawan enjoying the lake.
