I can talk endlessly about the liner itself, about what is on it, but it's time to move on to our visits to other countries, for which we went on this cruise too - to look at new countries where we have never been before.
So, day 4 - Costa Rica, the city of Puerto Limon.
This was our first stop on this cruise after 2.5 days on the sea-ocean, and the first landing.
Of course, we prepared, woke up early and at 7 am were already at breakfast.

We went up on deck before breakfast early, 20 km before arriving at the port.
And we were still one hour late according to the schedule, so we could have breakfast slowly, before the excursion, which we had bought in advance, there was still a lot of time.
After breakfast, going up on deck again, we already saw the shore we were to land on.
The weather in the morning was overcast, I thought it might rain.
I found a piece of little blue sky and thanked him, I always do this when I need good weather, it almost always helps.
The liner was approached by escort ships that help it land on the shore correctly, they look like this, they are usually located on both sides.
We took all our things and went upstairs.
Above us, a flock of petrels circled, which accompanied us for almost a whole day in the ocean to the shore.
People gathered on the upper deck to look at the land and at the birds.
And then they moored to the shore and everyone went to the exit from the liner to the shore.
Landing is fast, the ship's map is simply scanned, you go ashore using it, then you return to the ship using it.
There is no special crowd, there is no long wait either. It's just that the whole mass of people moves to the exit and leaves the liner.
By the way, you don't have to leave. You, in general, can simply be on the liner during the entire trip and not go ashore.
Simply, usually people go to see other countries and take a walk there, and the liner is a comfortable means of transportation.
And here we are on the coast of Costa Rica!
In the distance, there were already sightseeing buses waiting for us.

All the clouds were gone, the weather cleared up, and the whole day was wonderful, sunny, hot and pleasant for a walk.
And this is what our liner looked like from the shore, along with others standing nearby.
If you bought excursions, when you go ashore, look for your guides.
They usually stand with a poster on a stick that says the name of your tour, which is written on your ticket.
We buy all excursions in advance, we receive all tickets for all excursions in our room on the first day, that is, when we check in, we already have an envelope with tickets for all excursions for the entire period of our cruise on our bed.
Therefore, in the morning we simply take out tickets from the envelope for the excursion we need and go to the exit from the ship.
In each port, sightseeing buses stand in different places.
Usually the guides go straight to the exit from the liner, if the design of the pier allows it, in order to collect and pick up their entire group who are going on their excursion.
If the design of the port and the pier is such that the guides cannot get on it, then they usually wait right outside the gate to the exit from the pier.
In the port of Limon, all the buses stood on the shore, behind the pier, they had wine from afar.
We approached them and just found our bus.
Usually a guide and a driver work together on each excursion.
The guides always hand out and put on their hand a colored paper bracelet, all guides have different colors to "mark" you on this tour.
We waited on the bus for everyone to gather, there were 10 of us on this tour, and we went to the bee farm.

On the way, the first guide talked about Costa Rica, that it is a country of huge banana plantations, and we drove past them.
Then we made our first stop to look at a family of spider monkeys high up in a tree (videos of the monkeys are below, check out my YouTube channel).
In the photo, of course, they are not visible in the crown of the tree, but in the video, with the approximation, it is clearly visible.
And the second time we stopped to look, also on a tree, how a sloth lives.
I saw a sloth for the first time in my life. This is so cute!
There is also a video of it below. But in the photo you can see how he sits on a branch.
So we drove - drove, listened to the guide, rejoiced at the monkeys and the sloth, and arrived at the beekeepers.

But in this video, we woke up and climbed onto the deck of the liner in the morning. We had 20 km to the coast of Costa Rica.
And here we are going to moor to the shore, which is already very close.
Then two videos of petrels circling above us, a flock flew straight.
