Argentina - Have you ever seen a covered street? Here I show you one in the province of Córdoba. 😀❤️

Although the main attraction of Capilla del Monte is all the beautiful nature that surrounds this place, there are also some other interesting things to do among its streets. While my dad and I visited this place in January, we realized that it is quite complete because you can have the best of both scenarios: things to do outdoors among the mountains and also several shops to visit on lazy afternoons. But without a doubt, one of the places that you cannot miss because it does not go unnoticed is the covered street right in the commercial center of the town 😃.

What I liked the most about this place in Córdoba is that if you are in the center, you can see the mountains from any corner. The Cordoba mountains are almost 500 km long and at their feet are located numerous towns where you can enjoy a good vacation. In addition to choosing this place because my main idea was to visit Cerro Uritorco, the highest of these mountains, I also wanted to explore its shopping center a bit ❤️.

The commercial area covers a radius of approximately 10 blocks. It's not that big, but it has everything you need to have a good time after you've been in the mountains. There are numerous restaurants, craft shops, tourism services and bicycle rentals, even a cinema with a very accessible ticket. Some places seem to have remained in time: they are not so modernized but that is what continues to make visits to these towns "magical" (I call it magical but my dad described it as a lack of investment) 😂.

Probably the most important must-see in the shopping center is the famous "roofed street". When I was planning my itinerary for this trip I had read about it but I didn't want to see any photos of what it was like because I like to be surprised when I'm in the place. From a distance I did not understand what the concept was, how or for what, but when I went I understood that its function is that the curious want to go there to see what it is like 😅.

This great roof over the street Buenos Aires, between Dean Funes and 25 de Mayo streets extends for a block, including even the sidewalks of businesses. During the night, the lights on the ceiling are turned on and everything is illuminated very nice and photogenic for when you are having dinner. This street is about to turn 60 years old and according to its website, it is the only one of its kind in South América. We know South América is big, so if you have seen another similar one, I would like to know about it, and if it does not exist, I will be proud that the only one that exists remains in Argentina ❤️.

During our stay in Capilla we saw the covered street every day because we necessarily went there to go shopping or have dinner. I thought it was an interesting construction and a good way to give identity to the town. Well, even more identity than the one given by the highest hill in the mountains and everything mystical that revolves around UFOs. If this town wanted to have several interesting things to attract tourists, they have succeeded perfectly 😀.

How interesting about the roofed street, the truth is that I had not seen one like it.

I liked the photos of the streets of this town, very nice.

Thank you very much, it was an interesting place to see :D

Both my dad and my brother live in Cordoba and for years they have been inviting me to go, but I have not had the opportunity yet and since I see these pictures it motivates me. Greetings !

You have to go, more to the Capilla, it's a very nice place :)
