Some years ago my family and I had been visiting Los Acantilados beach in the city of Mar del Plata. Unfortunately, it was winter and the day was so cold that we were covered in coats, hats and scarves. We promised to return at another time of year where it would be hot. Finally, after 4 years, we kept the promise 😅.
Hace algunos años mi familia y yo habíamos estado de visita en la playa Los Acantilados de la ciudad de Mar del Plata. Desafortunadamente, era invierno y el día estaba tan frío que estabamos cubiertos de abrigos, gorros y bufandas. Prometimos volver en otra época del año en donde hiciera calor. Finalmente, luego de 4 años, cumplimos la promesa 😅.
And that day it was really hot! Even though we were almost into fall, the temperatures were still high. To access the beach we had to go down a corridor where each time you were covered with rock.
¡Y ese día si que estuvo caluroso! A pesar de que ya casi llegabamos al otoño, las temperaturas seguían elevadas. Para acceder a la playa tuvimos que bajar por un pasillo en donde cada vez quedabas más cubierto de roca.
Once down there, we were happy to see that there was plenty of beach space. It was a bit early when we arrived, so there weren't that many people.
Una vez allí abajo, nos alegramos al ver que había mucho espacio de playa. Era un poco temprano cuando llegamos, entonces no había tanta gente.
One activity that take place there was paragliding. Taking advantage of the height of the cliffs, there were several adventurers who took walks through the air ❤.
Una actividad que hacían allí era parapente. Aprovechando la altura de los acantilados, habían varios aventureros que daban paseos por el aire ❤.
We spent a beautiful afternoon there. When we left, we discovered a staircase to get back to street level. The highest ladder of my life 😂.
Pasamos una hermosa tarde allí. Cuando nos fuimos, descubrimos una escalera para volver al nivel de la calle. La escalera más alta de mi vida 😂.
However, the view from up there was incredible ❤.
Sin embargo, la vista desde allá arriba era increíble ❤.
