Traditional Dutch Ham Sandwich from Nieuwmarkt
Impressed with how clean the undercover parking lot is
Prior to coming to the city of Amsterdam I was able to give my dad a tour of my building where I am employed.
We went to Neuwmarkt and strolled through the flea market to see all the different stalls.
We then ventured down the side streets which was actually China town and then ended up walking back to the flea market
There we had a traditional Dutch sandwich of ham with fried onions and ketchup and then we also got a cappuccino before leaving
All in all, many steps and a lovely day out. The crowds show how everybody was out enjoying the great weather. Lots of interesting things to see and experience.
Amsterdam sure is a bustling city with an amazing vibe and plenty of locals and tourists.
Last year we visited Greece with my Greek mother and it has been a dream to be in the Netherlands with my Dutch father - enjoying my heritage.
